Listen...that face, that smile, those eyes, that make up, that hair, that everything. It sucks me in every time. And this version is so clear! Enjoy!

Happy 100th Birthday Jean Harlow

Harlow, Jean - Picture of a Beauty Queen.

You should all do yourself a favor and see my favorite Harlow film, Red Dust with Clark Gable to commemorate Jean Harlow's 100th birthday. Her character, Vantine, is one my all-time favorites in Hollywood history.

I'd still like Roquefort! I mean, Gorgonzola!

Madonna: The Forgotten Images

Thanks Carla xo

New Madonna nudes have emerged. Shot on the same day as the Martin Schreiber nudes at Parson's Studio in New York, a Madonna buff with a keen eye noticed some differences in the photos. After some investigation, she found the details of the shoot and the photographer, Joseph Threadgill. Originally there were 11 photographs, one was given away and they've chosen 8 to display. Tom in the video below is a dingle. If you're in Denver, go see the show and photograph them for us! xo

You Can Dance - Vinyl

In late 1987, You Can Dance was released. It kind of came out of nowhere and was such a wonderful surprise. My neighbor worked at R&R - Radio & Records, so he would always give me the promotional Madonna albums that would come in. In those days they would receive the albums a week or two before the release date. So, one day he came home with You Can Dance.

I love You Can Dance. Spotlight - a new song! Still one of my favorites with one of those fabulous Madonna bridges. The reworking of the other songs. Physical Attraction and other non singles getting the respect they deserved. It was just so fantastic. And all non-stop. Love the album art and all the mixes and just everything about that time. It really was a great way to end 1987 and a great segue and tiding over into '88, where we as fans would see very little of Madonna.
