Cops: No Shutterbugs Involved in Madonna Mishap

The Southampton Village Police Department says no one from Madonna's camp said anything about a photographer causing the accident.

"There is no mention of photographers," Sgt. Herbert Johnson told TMZ. "It's a matter of spin control that went out of control. If they felt there was something else, they would have written 'paparazzi' in the form -- if they felt there was a problem."

The singer, who recently turned 50, suffered "minor injuries" and bruises, Rosenberg said. She was treated at a Southampton hospital and was released, but she still was being monitored by doctors.
