The Making of Everybody Video

  1. Which will NOT be on the Celebration DVD. I'm not sure why. I know it's always talked about that Burning Up was her first video. She even said on "The Virgin Interview" in 85 that Borderline was the first video she ever did. I wonder why. Maybe they mean first released video. If the Everybody 12" was so successful, I wonder why they didn't release it? I know MTV was just coming on the scene. And even if it wasn't released, why wouldn't they include it now? It was her first single. Thanks for posting!

  2. unfortunately. i hate that Everybody is always left off. Even with that $1,000. budget its eons ahead of anything done today. It's her beginning, her at the danceteria, The Star Was Born!!! And she looks cool as fuck in it. xo

  3. I agree. Hands down one of my favorites. It is her beginning...why would you leave it off? Maybe they don't see it as a successful single as it only did extremely well in the clubs. It's how and where she started. It makes a great story how Ain't No Big Deal was to be the first single and how that turned out. WHY? Warner has always fucked with us when it came to her releases. Some were good but I always think they could have done more and better to promote and deliver.
