  1. It's funny, but when I fist saw these shots, I thought they were far more shocking than anything that was in the Sex book. Don't know why!

  2. I always thought these photos should have been used as the cover of Bedtime Stories. All of them were great.

  3. the styling on the shoot was exquisite... chinatown silk robe, black lace lingere, crushed velvet sheets, whorehouse wallpaper... like a glorious technicolor sequel to Meisel's LAV shoot.

  4. This was an amazing photoshoot, but i did not care for the interview and how deperate the interview made her look. I know Madonna has had many love/hate relationships with interviewers but this on and the one she did with Mailer made her seem cheap, like when she tried to flash Mailer her boob and he did not even flinch, just seemed like she was trying too hard. But seeing that everything in her world is soo calculated maybe that was the image she wanted to project at that time!

  5. finally some Bedtime Stories love - an often forgotten era. great shoot. and no, the album shoot was perfect as it was; romantic, modest, sophisticated. and she was a little desperate in the Details mag interview - so what? appreciated the journalists frankness in that one.
