  1. She looks cute here. Shame the movie wasn't better. There's a moment when Nikki Finn drives across a freeway and it's so clearly a stunt double with a really bad wig! On the plus side the songs were fun. The Look of Love is one of my favourites to this day. Deserved a place on Something to Remember!

  2. Wow! NEVER SEEN THIS BEFORE!!

Why oh WHY was this and the other "Making of" featurettes not included on the WTG movie DVD?!?!?!?!?

Interesting to note that at the time of this interview, as far as we know, the movie was still called "Slammer" so I wonder if the song "Who's That Girl" had been finished when she was talking here!

And Glasgowboy I'm surprised you don't love this movie - it's my favourite Madonna movie! Go watch it again some time with a couple of drinks - it's so funny! And she is SO GORGEOUS in this movie. Aw!

  4. I love that scene where Loudon comes up to the penthouse and finds Nikki waiting for him.She pops the bottle of champagne and says, Hello, counselor." Madonna looked stunning in that white Monroe dress and that whole scene with the jungle on the rooftop. The movie definately had its moments.

  5. You know, also.... "Causing a Commotion" is kind of a lost Madonna song. I remember it was on the radio constantly in late '87, and it went to #2 on the Billboard HOT 100. I bet if she had filmed a video for it, the song would have gotten that extra push to be another #1 in the US.

There's a remix of Causing a Commotion wih a lot of piano that is in my Top 5 Favorites of her songs.

I was surprised when it (along with Who's That Girl?) didn't show up on The Immaculate Collection. At least WTG made it onto Celebration

  6. I LOVE Who's That Girl, I watch my DVD at least once a year as it takes me back to being 10... I have never been a huge fan of her acting but WTF & Desperately Seeking Susan are so much fun. The music was perfect, The Look Of Love is definitely one of my fave Madonna songs along with Who's That Girl.
