I love this green dress by Gianni Versace and Madonna looked so beautiful this night at the 1994 MTV Music Video Awards. Scan of the dress from the great Dazed and Confused Magazine from 2008 for Hard Candy promo.
The bottom of the dress looks very interesting. We didn't really get to see her full body very much in any photos/video cuz she was standing behind a podium or being interviewed from the chest up.
Love the dress, hate the hair. I was so excited when I first saw the Dazed & Confused issue. I can't believe no-one else thought to do that sooner. I just wish the costume exhibition mentioned 5 years ago would come to fruition. I think fans would like that more than another album or tour at this stage.

ReplyDeleteone of the sexiest madonna moments ever!
ReplyDeleteNot a fan of this flapper look, I'm afraid.
ReplyDeleteVersace was a genius fashion designer. :sigh:
ReplyDeleteGreat dress. Her hair is amazing though! Would have been a much better look for the Secret video. Just a thought.
ReplyDeleteAnother thing... the Dazed & Confused issue is one of the best Madonna magazines ever.
