For the Lady Gaga Fans

Seems some Madonna fans love Lady Gaga, so I thought you Gag fans would dig.

Quite a vision Gaga was in Oslo on Saturday night.

Digging for nuggets?

  3. Theres nothing wrong being a Madonna fan an liking Gaga,or it is ??. Im sorry but if you like Madonna doesnt mean you cant like anyone else, thats just stupid.

  4. It is stupid, Maar, but the point is, Gaga is not a good entertainer. She is not original and she is not very creative. Sure, she would make a killer lounge singer in Tahoe, but as the worlds biggest star at the moment, it's crazy because she really is pretty bad. She isn;t even nice to look at. She can't dance. She is just so blah, you know?

  5. Gaga is obviously talented but she looks AWFUL. These pictures are beyond ugly.

  6. I don't mind Gaga but I have to say, she is pretty hideous to look at.

  7. gaga is talented, but she prefers to provoke via her disgusting, creepy outfits, rather than her music. madonna broke boundaries and opened people's minds, but she made really good music as well. meaningful songs, provocative videos and live performances that push people's buttons. for the record, gaga has a horrible body and a horrible face too :]

  8. ha-ha! When i saw the first 2 pics i thought it's another madonna photoshop art-work:)
Her body is really disgusting in this outfit. But any normal woman always wants slim body!
I think Gaga is really not good entertainer, she has voice and that's all. No sence of style, no marketing sence. Everything she has is powerfull executives in music industry and big budgets. I think she doesn't develop the ideas of her perfomances herself. In other words, this is another "project" in the industry.

  9. You're losing points man. not ALL Madonna-s fans like Gaga. please consider the other rest of reasonable people. this is supposed to be a Madonna scrapbook. don't push in it Gaga. I wish it could be the only blog with no Gaga shitty face. Please don't hurt me Pud. Please. Cancel it , I beg you

  10. Thanks for posting pictures of a really talented (though ugly) star

  11. There is nothing 'star' about Lady Gaga. She has ZERO star quality. She has a jazzy lounge voice. She does not belong as this media made pop star. She is a good singer. That's it. Nothing more. Again, good, not great. She does nothing for the pop world. Not hating, just stating facts. No 'it' or 'x' factor. Bleck.

  13. When I read things like "Gaga has talent" or "she has voice" (to quote few of what you can find here on the comments) I think to myself: do people have any critical thinking? Or they just register what they see on mainstream media and accept it?

No. Gaga doesn't have talent. At least artistic talent. Or real musical talent. And she definitely has no talent for singing (girl cannot hold a note).

Gaga plays the piano. That's it. But that doesn't mean she has a real musical talent. She writes her songs, they can try to argue. Yeah, but writing "Sometimes I feel like I live Grand Central Station / Tonight I'm not taking no calls cause I'll be dancing" doesnt take ANY TALENT at all. Obviously, I can name several examples of her poor songwriting.

It is the same as saying Mariah Carey has any musical talent. The fact that one is born with incredible voice range does not make them a music genius/talent.

Back to Gaga. The girl is 24, cannot write solid music and, a few years ago, when she didn't have a group of people creating her performances and her persona, she was a graceless chubby brunette behind the piano trying to ba Norah Jones. All it takes is a lot of money invested in you, a group of people behind every step you take, and a lot of money to promote airplay and promos on the most popular blogs in the world. A STAR IS BORN. But definitely, NOT born this way.

  15. I love it when people say: BUT GAGA WRITES HER OWN SONGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Uh, sorry kiddos, she CO-WRITES all of her songs, all what? 15 of them? lol.

Madonna also WRITES ALL HER OWN SONGS OMG!!!!!!!! too funny. :)

  16. gaga has some solid pipes but GOOD GOD ALMIGHTY, someone hide the canary hair dye from her already and... cmon girl, you really wanna be in top shape if you're gonna squeeze yourself into that tiny black shoestring of a costume... she looks like she's giving birth to twins in that top photo, YUCK, i think her water just broke

  17. well, i like gaga so i guess i'm in the minority here. i personally think it's a moot point to even compare her to madonna.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Exactly, Jeremy. You could have picked any of the females from The Jersey Shire to play Gaga and they would have been equally successful. It's all media hype to coincide with the reality generation we now live in. Pretty awful.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Madonna doesn't write shit. First, the music is written by her producers; she just suggests bass lines, a little piano here, some guitar there, and that's it. She also has other people write the lyrics, and she just adds (or changes) 3 or four words to them, so she can get writing credits.
Take the blind off your eyes.
Gaga is not only beautiful, but terribly talented. A natural for the stage. What an amazing singer she is! And what a style!!! This woman knows how to dress and make a fashion statement.

  20. Ga Ga may not be as toned as Madonna but she's still sexy. I'd boff her. I didn't realise that Libra's were this bitchy.

  21. Readng all these criticisms of Lady Gaga --- she has no style, no fashion sense, she can't sing, she's not sexy, she's offensive, she's all hype, she's not original --- sound just like the older generation criticizing Madonna back in the '80s. Replace the name "Lady Gaga" with "Madonna" in a lot of the posts above and it could be 1985 all over again.

I'm not a fan of Lady Gaga either (although I do like one of her songs). But if I've learned anything from Madonna it's to be tolerant & understanding of other people's ideas & art --- even if it's not for you. Madonna fans encourage others to express their individuality (even if that individuality is being a wannabe) and to never discourage someone from getting up on the dance floor, even if he or she has two left feet. And above all else, never underestimate someone...

So Lady Gaga's not for you? Fine. Change the channel.

  22. I am not a gaga fan, on the contrary, and besides her being such a copy cat, there is nothing interesting, talent-related or sexy about her, so I'd rather not see her around here, since I visit the blog to feel good and not scare the s**t out of myself :))

  23. lol@jimmy.

EVERYONE thought madonna was sexy from the start. Nice try. They all said she was untalented. Gaga is talented, who said she wasn't? Too funny. She just has no star quality. That's a fact. Nobody ever said that about Madonna.

And once again, ... - prove to me and anyone else reading here that Gaga sits there and writes her own music. The damn Fame Monster booklet itself says 'Co-Written' you dipstick. LOL! :)

  24. Oh, Gaga and Maddie, just two shit rippers. The only difference is that maddie came first.

  25. @Jimmy

Thanks for making some good points. I was reading a message board recently where a poster sees history remembering Madonna as a bigger star than Elvis or the Beatles. (I think it was posted around the time Madonna tied Elvis with the most Top 10 hits.) There were three or four pages of responses from people who were very offended at the thought of someone putting Madonna in the same league as Elvis and the Beatles. The majority of their responses refused to see her impact and influence on modern culture, and they completely discredited her talent and legitimacy as an artist. I suspect there was a generation gap in the posts --- where a lot of the offended people grew up with Elvis in the 50's or The Beatles in the 60's. Whether or not Lady Gaga will be remembered by history, I suspect a similar generation gap here as well.

Still, please, please, please Pud --- no more Lady Gaga posts!

  26. wooow... she looks worst than britney in that mtv awards fiasco a few years ago... i mean doesn't she have a PR team to tell her to do some pilates and shit before going on tour looking like that?

  27. She's a rich Guidette who grew up with Paris Hilton. What else would you expect?

    ReplyDelete
  28. some madonna fans do like gaga (i'm not one of them), but this happens because gaga remind them of madonna.

    ReplyDelete
  29. skountouflis, i'd feel it be pointless to list the reasons why i enjoy gaga, but i can tell you that one of those reasons is NOT because she reminds me of madonna. in fact, i think they're very different.

    ReplyDelete
  30. indeed they're different. there is no comparison between them (it's like comparing elvis to justin bieber - pointless). but gaga is really trying to do what madonna has done through the years. from debbie gibson and kylie minogue to britney spears, no other female artist came so close to what madonna did in her career. the BIG difference is that gaga is a freak onstage and remains a freak understage, trying to convience us that she always was a freak and not the rich clean cut girl who wanted to be famous. madonna knew and still knows where the "pop star madonna" stops and the "real life madonna" begins.

    ReplyDelete
  31. now you're getting into gaga academia territory ;)

    ReplyDelete
  32. hahah......no.......i'm just realistic and i can spot the differences ;)

    ReplyDelete
  33. This is why I respect madonnas hard work so much, being a legend is about looking sharp while performing, do you think madonna loves to get up at 6 am to workout every day of her life, by now probably yes, but its a lifetime achievement to have such an excellent pysyque, I cant remember a single performance of her looking like this lady gaga picture, while pregnant madonna had a better body than me at my 24s

    ReplyDelete
  34. Does Maddie have talent? If so, what is it?

    ReplyDelete
  35. Madonna´s talent is that we still are talking about her after 30 years of carer, and she has always been on the top, since her first single to the latest. It´s not about who sings better, or who composed the best song, it´s about changing and affecting pop culture in a positive way, always being an "Avant Garde" a "Maverick" That´s what artists do. When Universities included a curricula about Madonna, then we knew she was an artist.

    For some of us...
"For all the reasons we like Madonna, Roisin Murphy, David Bowie, Elton John, Andy Warhol, Cindy Lauper, Kylie Minogue, Blondie (to named a few) are the same reasons we don´t like Gaga"

Will she be here in 30 years, being this successful? We don´t know, but what we have for sure is that she needs to do more than she´s doing right now to have a place on the music pages, for the good reasons not only for good intentions.
