Rolling Stone - From The Vault - Music

  1. Souvenirs, souvenirs... Maddie's very last top one single was "Music". In 2000. A long time ago. A fucking long time ago actually. Come on Maddie, drop the distractions ("W.E.") and give as another top one single.

  2. I was surprised when "Die Another Day" didn't go to #1, but it seems like that was her last song to get radio airplay. (4 Minutes got attention but I think that had more to do with Timberlake.) Ever since American Life, radio has pretty much blacklisted her. I don't think she'll have another #1 until either radio warms up to her again or Billboard counts sales and downloads more heavily in their calculation.

  3. ... - who cares when her last #1 was. Music sucked. She has done a lot better singles since 2000. ;)
