I'm fascinated by Camille Barbone. Largely because she was there in the very, very beginning. I've seen interviews with her and they give an insight into HOW Madonna became the star she did. She was a force of nature. I can't imagine how it must have felt in '85 when Madonna was suddenly the biggest star in the world. And while Madonna wasn't keen I love the Gotham songs.
I read in an interview that Camille had a breakdown around 1990 during the BA era because everywhere she turned Madonna was on the radio, tv, magazines, etc. And that just got to her. She should have wrote a book. There's still time Camille if you're listening!
