I find this a bit shocking even now. Is this really the girl who sang Cherish?
The tooth isn't great, but the neither is the outfit. She was definitely pushing it as far as she could but not sure it did much for her. I remember the UK comedy show Spitting Image did a sketch that week sending this appearance up. The punchline was a dirty old man shouting "Oi, Madonna! Don't show us your tits!"
I remember first seeing this on Hard Copy, and I managed to videotape the segment. They had a few more angles not shown here. About 3 seconds after she removes her blazer, an overzealous fan was at the front of the stage. It appeared as though he had a drink in one hand and with the other he was trying to use Madonna's waist to lift himself up onstage. Security immediately gave him the bumrush and yanked him off. He still had his arm around her leg and when they pulled him off, it looked like she kicked him. You can see his face here for a split second, but that's all you can see here. She showed absolutely no reaction, ever the consummate professional. But, I'm sure her heart was pounding!!
