  1. He is an ass ! A lot of people cant stand him ! He should go away for once, all he cares is about money and those stupid projects (movies, gym and shit like that).

  2. Now id like to add that he denied a BOX SET,that's not a denial of individual releases,so it still could happen, who knows.

Her people denied in the past everything including adoptions, divorces, tours, albums, obvious lipsynching etc.

I'm not expecting them to confirm everything when the time isn't right for this and especially in the subject which can change in any moment.
But I never pay attention to what Guy O. has to say. It's either bad news or promoting one of his (lame) upcoming projects.

  5. I so hope this man is talking shite (again).

Whether he is or is not - he is fully aware that every Madonna fan on the planet wants full VT with the missing songs, along with the other DVDs more than any amount of Hard Candy Gym's, W.E. movies, Material Girl clothing or anything else he talks about these days.

So it might be nice if he said he'd work hard for these releases to happen. NO CHANCE!!!!

All I can say is that Tribe have *impeccable* sources - and since Madonna has left Warners, the label will hopefully do things from now on which simply won't involve Madonna or her management on any level.

That happens all the time when artists leave labels!!!

  7. Absolutely agree with madonna-tv.com. All the new projects are launching to attract new customers/fans and it seems they don't care about constant/old customers/fans. It's strange, because they don't have to create something, they need only to re-release old staff and make more money from the old projects.

  8. after this tweet from him, I un-followed him. to me he is useless. he doesnt do anything with us in mind. We've been asking for this for like 20 years and there is no real reason as to why it's not happening. and i'm also pissed that Madonna doesnt have her own twitter account. and dont get me started about the Icon fanclub. LOL!

  9. Ewwwwww. Icon is the worst fan club EVER,its just a joke,so lame.

  10. After 14 years, I just left ICON. After years of disappointment, broken promises and lame service, I just had to leave. It's a shame, because back in the day it was an amazing fan club, one worthy of Madonna. Now, it's just a way to milk the fans dry.

  12. guys don't blame madonna for the ICON or other stuff. and even if madonna had her own twitter accout, she woudn't use it on her own as i think that she doesn't use her facebook fanpage herself too. and i'm sure that either britney spears, lady gaga or kesha use their accounts on their own.

  13. ICON represents Madonna therefore I think, if her fans are unhappy and she doesn't do anything to address it, it is her fault. These people represent her and have the most contact with her fans. Enough is enough.

Sadly, young people today are all about social networking. She's missing out on a MASSIVE audience by not getting involved. Personally I'm past caring about whether her career is a success or not. It's her problem. If she can't be arsed, why should I?

  14. I feel quite ambivalent about the whole social networking thing. On the one hand it is the media du jour and that's what people are in to. But then again, I really HATE the idea of Madonna sending out Tweets or endless Facebook updates - it just seems somehow beneath her. Madonna is meant to be a distant celebrity and personally, I prefer her that way.

I've never belonged to Icon, but there's no reason why that can't be well run. There must be loads of people out there who could do a better job of managing the fanclub than whoever is running it at the moment.

  15. ^ I agree. There's absolutely no reason why things can't be done properly, like back when Freddy was managing her. I can't see M ever getting into tweets, facebook etc. She's just not like that.

If she wants to appeal to a broad, young, "trendy" audience (which I sometimes feels she does, these days) then twitter is the easiest and best way to do that.

If she wants to be like Prince, who pretty much runs things his way and sells directly to people who have been fans of his for 20+ years, she needs to start doing things like releasing the Live DVDs, remastered albums, box sets, etc as this is what her audience who will stick with her want.

She needs to decide who she wants to appeal to and whether commercial success is worth alienating her hard-core fanbase for.
