Born This Way - Lady Gaga's new single: From The Drudge Report to all over the internet and twitter - that heinous Lady Gaga is being called out for being such a Madonna Wanna.
Born This Way has been hyped forever but it's Madonna that's getting all the major publicity today - for Lady Gaga's new song. Now that's truly...EPIC.
Per per.
Update: News letting her have it.
Love this!!! Brilliant once again...xo
ReplyDeletethe composition of the song is similar to express yourself and lyrics are similar to dusty springfield's born this way. SUCH A SHAME.
ReplyDeleteThe bubble has burst and guess who was holding the pin all along?! Madonna. Again. No one could have dreamed how fast it would all crumble for this little ugly nothing, but it's going to go downhill all the way from here for Joanne. And when Stillborn This Way becomes the moniker for this entire cultural chub flub, I expect credit for it!
ReplyDeleteI need to listen to the song,i havent yet.
ReplyDeleteIve just listened to it and i couldnt find anything related to "express yourself". The first thing that came to my mind was "David Guetta - When Love Takes Over" but definitely not "express yourself". As for the song its good and im sure it'll grow on me.
ReplyDeleteThe thing about the song is that it is mediocre. It is vaguely similar to Express Yourself, but not overtly similar.
ReplyDeleteThe problem is that it is just okay, maybe even sub-par, and she talked it up to high heavens for weeks. When you set the bar that high, and you miss it by that far, you lose your credibility.
Plus, it is another extension of her contrived faux-outsider-reject persona. She set out to make a gay anthem. I find that off-putting. Gay men choose there anthems, not have them delivered by straight, rich white women.
It appears we may have finally arrived at Peak Gaga.

ReplyDeleteIs this really the lead single for a new album and “anthem” of our generation?
This is what happens when you start believing your own hype. Though,I have to admit that the Fernando Garibay is a commendable effort, one has to wonder if the song justified the hype which preceded it. The production is very similar to Madonna's classics ‘Express Yourself’ and ‘Vogue’. There are also some hints of Kylie Minogue a bit TLC’s ‘Waterfalls’ and P!NKS “God is a DJ”. I was expecting a 'Bad Romance' part 2, but oh well....

I forgot to add that those pictures you posted Pud are just silly,c'mon now. The song is very smiliar to "Express Yourself" but those pics arent. Lets not be ridiculous here please.
ReplyDeletePure perfection...Madonna manages to steal the spotlight with a 21 year old hit!! This is the power of Madonna!!!
ReplyDeleteyeh the picture comparisons are a bit unfounded, dear pud. and wow, this song is nothing to rave about. poor joanne. couldn't she hear it?
ReplyDeletei cant hear EY in this song at all, as that would mean its good.
ReplyDeletegaga had some catchy fun songs on her ONE previous album, but this song sucks.
