Erotic - The Making of 'Sex' Part 2


This is some of the amazing Super 8 footage that Fabien Baron, Stephen Callaghan and Darren Lew shot while Steven Meisel was photographing Madonna's Sex Book. The footage was compiled into an hour long video and given out at The Sex Book release party and the original soundtrack was set to vintage french music. This particular piece is set to Erotic, the cd that came with the book.

    I never knew the story behind this footage - how it ended up "out there"!

    So it was given away to attendees of the Sex book party? That's wow!!!

    I'm intrigued as to how some of the footage in the video in this post has an "MTV 2" logo on it?!?! Did they show some of this???

    I've got the original version with the 'french' music on it. Interesting to see her at a photoshoot, but gets boring towards the end. She looks beautiful in it.

    lol. i remember when i got this video and started selling HUNDREDS on ebay in 1998/1999.

    made so much $$!! crazy and fun times. glad i could get it out there :)

    This film was soooooo boring. Still, it's one of those super rare Madonna things that exist out there in the world, and it's terrific that it's leaked outside of the very few who used to have it.
