i've always wondered why they didnt start filming TOD until after the tour started. i'm assuming they just didnt come up with the idea until late in the game... would have loved to see footage of how they put the tour together, similar to how they did it for IGTYAS
Too bad JPGaultier's new favourite nowadays is none other than Lady Gaga! His latest photoshot with Gaga reminded me of a less inspired version of the 1990 French Glamour cover with him and Madonna.
What's interesting is that the shot of her with the dark hair (which gives the outfit a totally different feel-it's rather incredible actually how different the outfit feels with the dark hair)...isn't a consistent thing. Notice the hair when she's trying on the Keep It Together outfit. her hair is blond there. And when you see her hair in the Express Yourself outfit...I can't tell if it's dark or blond, it looks to be blond...?
Either way, this is incredible. Thank you for this incredible find Pud!
@Dontlookback, Yes, she did return to her roots for a brief period between filming Dick Tracy and Vogue/Blond Ambition; in Oh Father, filmed in November '89, she's growing out the blond, by Jan '90 she was sporting a dark brown / black bob, which is when the Immaculate Collection / Blond Ambition Tour program shots were done. By March she was back to blond for the tour.
@Cristian, you're right about the changing colours, she was probably making the transition from dark to blond during the fitting visits. :)

nicolas madonna is and will always be JPG'S FAVE. DONT BELIEVE THE GAGA HYPE MACHINE . gaultier even said in an interview that he believes gaga is talented but she has studied madonnas bible way too closely...
