very sad indeed. She was a very talented young woman. I hope people will not cheapen this by saying she was a dope addict and got what she asked for. She had problems and I feel very sad that the problems were too much for her spirit to handle. May she be at peace now.
Winehouse hadn't only said that she used to listen the Immaculate Collection at the age of 11 but also that Madonna is an old lady (on 2004)and that she can't shock any more and she should get a nice band, just stand in front of them and fucking sing. Well it seems that M is too old to dance, but Winehouse was too drug addict to live (and sing). The death of a young lady is sad anyway. rip.
So sad. I am such a huge Amy fan, I lost two of my biggest idols this year, Liz and Amy =(.

ReplyDeleteIts sad that she couldn't shake off her demons. i am a fan, and i'm sad to know that her music has died with her. back to black was phenomenal!!!
