Alex McArthur - The One Papa Warned Us All About


A faggot and hetero girl fantasy to millions back in the day, let's take a moment and remember Alex McArthur's beauty which radiated from Madonna's 1986 truly epic video, Papa Don't Preach directed by James Foley.

Hard to imagine now but back then videos were beamed into living rooms around the world every hour on the hour reaching everybody from teenagers to grandmothers to artists. Warhol had remarked that he wanted his Interview Magazine to have the same look as Madonna's Papa Don't Preach video.

If MTV had the foresight to have categories like Best Supporting Actor in a Video, of course, we all know who would have taken home the prize that year. John Oates would have keeled over.
