wow, talk about a marketing genius... it will be the biggest promotion she's ever staged for the release of a new studio album. never one to shrink from the public eye she's gonna be bigger than ever - from W.E. to The Superbowl, from the new album to a new tour, she's gonna be everywhere over the next year!!!!!
I have a feeling it's gonna be like her LIVE EARTH, LIVE 8 performances...rehashing her previous concerts. I hope this is not true and she kills it with a great retrospect of her biggest classics. Vouge would be amazing as would Dress You up!
lol. and for the record, i bet ANYTHING that celebration will be performed as part of her performance, which i have no problem with. also predicting this will be her closing number on the next tour ;)
I'm thinking this would be a good thing to put her back into American graces. But did ya see some of the comments? Jeez, such hate for M. Anyway, she would need to play into what the "people" want to hear. HITS and maybe the first single from the new album. Hope it happens and that it's beyond!
Oh God yea, Celebration, completely forgot about that, that would be perfect. Vogue, Celebration, 4 Minutes would be great too, JT'd be up for it. Express Yourself would be cool and Open Your Heart.
Oh and I must comment after reading out of the loop fans commenting on how she should not perform, 'Celebration' because it was a flop.
Well, uh, let's see: The song was a flop because THERE WAS NO PROMOTION. The song is also fantastic, aside from the crappy production, but Benassi fixed that. The song also speaks to everyone and would be fantastic promotion to push the Celebration Greatest Hits album. Not to mention it was her last round of new music, which has not been performed yet.
So yes, plenty of PERFECT reasons, why the song, 'Celebration' should and WILL be performed.
IT WOULD BE EPIC! FULL MADONNA STAGE PRODUCTION!
ReplyDeleteWAY TO KICK OFF 2012!
Awesome news, 2012 is gonna be massive.
ReplyDeleteSetlist? Aside from new stuff, I'm guessing Ray Of Light, Music, Hung Up, Holiday (she aint done it in awhile) and (would be amazing) Vogue!

ReplyDeleteI'd really love to hear her do Revolver live too actually
ReplyDeleteI think she will/should pick songs that speak universally, not songs about herself (ROL).
ReplyDeleteMusic, Holiday, Celebration, maybe Like a Prayer and of course her new single...
