Papa Oh Puh-leeze

Hey, Mr. Too Good for music videos, Nobody ever went on Opening Day to see a Danny Aiello film.

Here's a fact. Madonna made Danny Aiello a household name in the 80's. He can go on about being an actor but face it dude, no one would care about you today without your little Madonna association. Case in point: This interview, without dropping her name and his filth, would be seen by nobody.

  3. Pathetic. I don't even know who he is outside of Papa Don't Preach, and I'm a VERY knowledgeable person when it comes to art and cinema, which makes me think that, Papa Don't Preach being the cinematic masterpiece that it is, towers over anything and everything this pathetic lowlife ever did, so who cares.

I didn't even know his name, lol, pathetic.

  4. That naughty-but-nice jingle is so awful it's hilarious!
He makes himself look ridiculous, basically saying he was in the video against his will.
    How unprofessional.

  5. What is wrong with the male reporter? He is laughing way too much lol

I think being the "experienced actor" he claimed to be he probably should have warn his daughter or whatever about when is an appropriate time to ask for a picture and autograph lol

  7. Well he was in The Godfather Part 2, The Purple Rose Of Cairo Do The Right Thing and Moonstruck. I don't think it works to play ignorant when it comes to the fact that Danny Aiello has had a long career, albeit generally playing the same type of character. I understand why he would offend Madonna fans with his comments here (although this isn't the first time he has gone on record with these comments about his experience), but let's remember that obviously Madonna wanted him to play the role for a reason. I appreciated the fact that at the end of the interview he essentially was explaining that while he did it for his daughter, he essentially respected the conflict of interest in the process of her disturbing a fellow actor (Madonna) as she was preparing to perform. As a film actor, no one was scrambling to make appearances in music videos at the time. All this said for the benefit of playing devil's advocate, I do find him incredibly smug and he really should have more respect for the work of others.

  8. im not discrediting aiellos film work, what i said was NOBODY got ready and lined up for one of dannys movies on a friday night. also, what i said was if he wasnt going off on madonna nobody would be talking about him on his press tour for whatever hes peddling. if he was on regis and kelly without the madonna jab, nobody would blink an eye. sorry AC.

  9. it would be one thing if it was a brief mention of Madonna BUT hes been on several interviews dropping her name??

Why is the Focus Papa don't Preach and not the Rose of Cairo?

  10. if the reason he took the job was for his daughter to meet and be autographed with madonna that should have been in his contract.

  11. LOL, my god his ego was as inflated as his nose and fat gut! he could have seen this as an experience to expand his own audience. Whats interesting to me is just how many connections Sean made for M, from this douchebag to warren beatty to james foley.
