A short snippet of Give Me All Your Love has just leaked... and it sounds like OVER & OVER from Like a Virgin (the version from the Virgin Tour). Can't be a bad thing in my book ;)
When Vogue came out I bought 8 copies to pass around to fam and friends It was that major and still is!
At first i was like why they all cheap and using a Express Yourself photo BUT then it I thought such a genius image and classic Madonna pose. It all made sense.
VOGUE is an ICON of a song that holds up forever!!
This shot was taken from 2 angles: one profile, totally side one and another like this one. Prefer the side-on one myself. Gorgeous shot, naff single cover.
Apparently the 'single version' is actually the original version. The longer intro and 'strike a pose' sections on the album version were added later after the 'Bette Davis Dub' had been played to Madonna. She liked the intro so much she added it to the track and this became the album version.
lol. WRONG. This is what the awful MATTRESS goes around lying about. The album version/Video version is the original version. The single version is just that, edited to be a single version.
Why anyone listens to that used Mattress is beyond me.
Anyhow, Vogue. Great song and I remember stealing this cassette maxi-single from MusicLand in 1990! Oh the things I did when I was a kid for Madonna lol
thats fine, i dont like a lot of people either. theres no need for that. leave that to the hideously miserable evry. hahahhahahaha!!! i love to contradict myself. EAT IT!!!
Well I had to let these people know that the rumor of the album version of Vogue not really being the original is bogus and totally made up by MATTRESS.
why did they cut her left tit off?
ReplyDeleteRemember it AND LOVED IT! Oh the memories!
