Fabulous on every level.

  1. Amazing to see it so clear!
She looks breathtaking, she has such natural authenticity and sincere appreciation for David Bowie. I love the silver cape and platform shoe story,I love how she repeats anyways. I just love it all! Nothing made up with Madonna always the real deal!

Ps her and David Byrne go way back right? Neighbors in soho? It would be nice to see them exchanging words in clip.

  2. Never knew she was neighbors with David Byrne. That's pretty cool. I kinda doubt the whole "cape and platform" thing. M likes to embellish sometimes! Still a great story!

  5. I honestly could have mistaken this video for being from this year. The jacket, the face, the hair... All so similar yet it was 16 years ago!

  7. I wish someone would have told she didn't have to speak directly into the microphone, it would have picked her up if she'd stood up straight... I guess she mistook it for an old Blond Ambition headset and couldn't get close enough. :-)

  8. rl, madonna is a tiny woman therefore she has teeny voice and she wants it to BLARE. she wants to take over your ears. she always going right in.

  9. ^ True. She does it a lot, always assumed it was nerves or she was uncomfortable or something. So endearing.
