Let's Get Something Straight: Madonna Has Big, Gay Super Hole Plans

The One

At a premiere party last night for Madonna's heroically bad fabulous new movie W.E,, a backup dancers [sic] was overheard boasting that the singer would be "bringing gay to the Super Bowl" when she performs during the halftime show next week.

Newsflash to Ray Gustini and Pop Culture enthusiasts: Madonna has brought GAY everywhere she's gone since 1983. Long before it was acceptable, fashionable and even a prerequisite. Madonna single handedly implemented GAY into the pop cultural blue print. It wasn't Elvis, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Diana Ross, Barbra Streisand, Debbie Harry, Elton John, Tina Turner, Bruce Springsteen, Donna Summer, Irene Cara, Prince, Laura Branigan, Pat Benatar, Cyndi Lauper, Michael or Janet Jackson, Paula Abdul - DO YOU WANT ME TO CONTINUE?

On That Note: I have never heard of so many fags having a Super Hole party as I have this year. There is only one reason for that. Madonna.

  3. You are so true. AIDS was still a taboo subject and Madonna made brought it to the table in a much different way.

P.S. - Do you know what time she will be performing? I don't think I could stomach watching until

  6. I am just praying that the rumour of Cee Lo Green performing with her at the Superbowl is FALSE.

IMO Madonna has "collaborated" with some seriously rubbish people over the years (Ricky Martin & Britney Spears in particular), but Cee Lo Green would top it off for me. I've gone from being super-excited about this performance to being slightly worried...

    1. Think the 'cee lo green' rumour is wrong. i think it's gonna be 'LMFAO' & NICKI & M.I.A.

  7. It would be fun if she shocked everyone and had Elton come out on a piano and she sings "Masterpiece" then Lady Gaga comes out and they do Express yourself. It would be talked about for years :)

  8. I'm calling it first....I have a feeling it's gonna be GAGA. As she was also in the running for this years Super Bowl. It would be the Madonna thing to do if you ask me. I guess we will wait and see.

    1. If it were Gaga, I would stop watching right that moment. Nothing could keep me watching that horrible 'live' entertainer. Awful.

    2. I think it would be clever. She is not as bad as you guys are saying she is. Though she is annoying and hard to tolerate with all those ridiculous costumes she parades around in. Like for real? It totally takes a way form the music.

Anyway, I bet a million dollars her next album/look will be a cleaned up version of herself (ala Madonna during the True Blue era). If she goes down that road THEN she truly is a copycat. Can you blame her though? Madonna wrote the book, so why not follow it? She is for the new generation as Cher was before Madonna and Marilyn before Cher…ect.

    3. She is worse then a lot of us think. Her songs all sound the same now and not in a good way. Nothing on her latest album is anywhere near as good as most of The Fame Monster.

Songs like, Bad Romance and Paparazzi had me somewhat intrigued, but the rest is plain garbage. She is a lounge singer/Broadway singer trying to do pop. She can't dance, she isn't pretty.

      It just doesn't work. Yuck.

  9. Hmmm. I am not too worried about who is there. I just wanna see MADONNA! The excitement is mounting.

  10. People worried about who will join her on stage?

    Seriously?

It's MADONNA. And she NEVER disappoints.

Even when she collaborates with shitty celebrities (Britney, Xtina, Missy Elliott) she totally dominates the stage (not talking about Ricky Martin because that was never performed on stage).

Madonna will put on a great show.

I love M.I.A. and I think Minaj will be just fine - she's on fire now (no, I'm not a fan, but I like her when she's angry and disses lil Kim).

No, Madonna will not have Lady CopyCaCat on stage with her. She's already supported that thing a lot by providing an entire career to be copied. She doesn't need to give her more airtime by sharing the stage with that putrid wannabe.

  12. Yes. The One.

BTW, I am a Minaj fan. She is very good at what she does and she's not trying to be someone she's not. Refreshing.
