  1. And if there was any justice... she would win.

  2. Anyone get a load of the 2 nominees for Best Song? WOW, both better music needs to be written for movies AND the rules need to be looked at again. Masterpiece failed to be considered only because it wasn't the first music queue in the credits. An odd rule, but a rule nonetheless and one that isn't new. Perhaps it's a rule that should be looked at again.

  5. I am thrilled her movie got an oscar nod. That will be added to the print ads as well as the golden globe win. Looks like a hit to me! And you know Madonna had much to do with the costume design. I hope M goes to the Oscar's and W.E. wins that award!

  8. So happy for Arianne and Madonna! As others have said, this film will now be known forever as Oscar nominated, and Golden Globe winning.;) I'm sure Madonna is thrilled with this recognition, and will definitely attend the Oscars to support Arianne and her film. It's no surprise Andrea didn't get a nomination. Despite the generally glowing reviews for her, the critics savaged the initial positive buzz of the film, and she just got lost in the rubble. It's also a shame Abel didn't get a nomination for his amazing score. Giving John Williams two nominations in score is just ridiculous.

The best song category is a joke with those two forgettable nominations. Masterpiece shits over both of them, but the silver lining is that Elton has more egg on his face. You just know he was super pissed this morning. Lol!

    1. "...this film will now be known forever as Oscar nominated, and Golden Globe winning..."

      Exactly. And hopefully Oscar winning.

If it's not though, will Madonna go on a Twitter rant?

Boy that was a stupid and sad thing to do. Madonna's had to put up with this kind of garbage about her film career since forever. Madonna is a Golden Globe winning actress herself! Idiots.
