beautifully shot, sultry yet tasteful. she probably used this ad as a test to see what mert and marcus could do before committing to a music video. they've done an amazing job with everything. god bless that interview spread for reigniting a collaboration.
however i will say that i prefer it when mert and marcus go easier on the retouching than they did with the MDNA project. what was cool about the interview shots was how perfectly imperfect they were; the fishnet marks on her stomach/hip, the pores in her skin, the soft hairs on her face. some of the MDNA shots, particular the lingerie session, are a bit overdone. still, striking.
Liz Taylor clearly could have shown her how to make a iconic perfume commercial
ReplyDeletechains, fetish masks & bondage gear... Dita has officially returned to the party!!! I'm digging the commercial and this steamy "Sex 2.0" era
ReplyDeleteLove it and love how they added a bit of the fantastic Offer Nissim mix of, 'Girl Gone Wild'!
ReplyDelete@Vanity - Stick a sock in it.
I've read nothing but bad reviews on this from people that have bought it. Has anyone smelled this stuff?
ReplyDeleteI hope it's good, as I'd love to gift it to my mother when she comes visit. She's always loved Madge.
ReplyDeleteThe commercial is phenomenal and I hope this is used in the tour as a video backdrop somehow.
Very nice commercial - she's looking very sensual and sultry.
ReplyDeleteI've heard the fragrance is very light and summery.
good ad! i too have heard her perfume smells really nice!
ReplyDeleteDefinately an Erotica / Sex era revival going on which is really quite unexpected.
ReplyDeleteLooks great. And Girls Gone Wild actually works.
ReplyDeleteThis should smell good because Madonna famously smells good.
