  1. Pure PERFECTION! Parents didn't let me go to that show and I seriously cried (I was 11 at the time!) They kinda made up for it with WTG. Tickets, lots of money to buy whatever I wanted...but it still didn't fill that Virgin Tour void! It's all good. They never let me miss Madonna again when she was in Dallas at least!

    1. AWEEEEE! That is such a cute story :-) *Not missing the Madonna concert part. But just parent's relating to a child who is obsessed with Madonna. I wonder what my parents must've thought :-)

    3. Viva Julian has the video, he/she will only trade it for an unreleased Virgin tour show. The copy she has is pro-shot...Last I heard she was touring with Gloria Estefam.

  3. PLEEEEEEEEEEEEASE can Warner Bros. release an entire show on DVD/Blu Ray. Who do I have to sleep with to make this happen? I'll do it! The energy, the sex, the fun, the joy, the woman. I never tire of images from this era.

  5. The first of her guitar rock anthems, Burning Up was a curious case of the sheer ineptitude of Active/Classic Rock Radio's virulent, shocking and negative attitude towards Madonna that continues to this day. To the Rockist Scribe with the pro-rock stance, Madonna is a godsend but to her detractors, they still say she has no talent whatsoever. I beg to differ because Lady Madonna is the best part of my own "mad existence!"-to paraphrase Evita. I am happy, fortunate and above all, blessed to be living in the Madonna Age. Yes, Madonna is a brilliant Rocker and if MDNA is any indication, the lady is rebellious and unrepentant. That is one of her better qualities!

    1. Me too! Good seats for the first show, less for the second night. It's been 22 years since Madonna graced us!
