  1. Oh madonna, in the past two weeks you've given us sound clips and videos
    -as sexy as erotica
    -as romantic as cherish
    -as fun as music
-as edgy as "what it feels like for a girl" video

    but it's all new, it's all 2012.

    love "superstar", love MDNA.

    1. Besides thinking this will be a great guilty pleasure, I also don't agree with your assessment for this particular song.

The worst two songs of Madonna's career:
      - 4 minutes
      - Revolver

And then, to a lesser degree:
      - Nobody's Perfect
      - Amazing
      - Love Song
      - Spanish Lesson
      - Candy Shop

Honorary mentions (have some redeemable qualities):
      - Push
      - Stay
      - Over and Over
      - Incredible
      - True Blue

    2. I love Amazing, True Blue, Love Song, Push and Stay,

    3. Push is terrible. The only thing that kept Confessions from being perfect. True Blue is fantastic as is Love Song and Stay. Amazing is blah.

  4. No. Worst song has to be incredible. But, this one is gonna give it a run for it's money. MDNA seems to be missing an edge.
I have to say I was not impressed with Girl Gone Wild when I first heard it but it is a grower rather than a show-er and now I'm breaking out some pretty kewl moves in the bathroom when I play it.
I just hope we get some 'classic' Madge on this album.

    1. Incredible is prob my favorite song from Hard Candy. Sad for those who don't get it.

Pure early 80's r&b pop funk.

  5. I have to say it helps being in love with someone when listening to this, lol.

Definitely excited to hear the full song.

  8. Nobody's Perfect & Amazing are NOT bad songs at all.
Incredible is by far her worst somg, i think i listened to it about 4 times before it was off my iPod forever.

Either way, we can't judge this song until we've heard all of it. Doesn't sound THAT bad either way. Just innocent fun.

    1. Nobody's perfect is an auto tuned mess. And people complain about her using auto tune too much yet praise Nobody's Perfect?

      lolz.

Again, Incredible is just that: Incredible.

    1. it's all in good fun!

And with that said: you're crazy! GGW is awesome! ;)

I've been struggling on whether it's better than Heartbeat or Give it 2 me. Time will tell. Def not better than Miles Away!

    2. GGW is classic Madonna.

Those who do not like it just don't like classic Madonna.

  12. fun game!!
okay m songs i dont listen to
can't judge the first to albums seeing as i wasnt born so i will let them be
    although Shoo-Bee-Doo- not great lyrically
    Jimmy jimmy
Act of Contrition- although wouldn't say its a song more like a completion to her amazing art project- like a prayer
    from erotica
    Did You Do It?
Bye Bye Baby"- although again fits the album just a boring song
same with secret garden fits the album just not strong for a single more like pieces of her puzzle
    bedtime stories
    definitely don't stop- is AWFUL
    id rather be your lover
    MUSIC ALBUM FANTASTIC
Ray of light: Candy perfume girl, swim, shanti
    american life album:
    im so stupid
nobody knows me- drags on and boring lyrically
Hard candy album nearly killed me it was sooooo bad. I really only like Give it 2 me and myles away

    1. lol... Actually had erased Jimmy Jimmy and Shoo-Bee-Doo from my mind. Terrible.

The rest I can see where you're coming from, except here:

"Ray of light: Candy perfume girl, swim, shanti
      american life album:
      im so stupid"

SWIM and STUPID and CPG??!?!?!! Those are awesome!!! Hope you go back to them, particularly Swim.

  13. it sounds more like an mdna outtake than an official album song.
i guess this is going to be my least favorite song on the album.

but it's ok...there is no madonna or any other artist's record that don't have at least one not so good song :)
i LOVE the 3 previous snippets!!

    (the photo is GREAT!)

    1. Prince .... Shoo-Bee-Doo is a fantastic ballad, fits in the Like A Virgin album like a dream, although we should of had Crazy For You on that album too,
      Incredible = shit
most of American Life was awful, I hate that album, A very cold record
      Mer Girl, = Terrible
H A N K Y P A N K Y ........ Oh My God that song gets on my tits, When i first heard the Breathless album i hated it, Old fashioned music that didn't fit into my youthful musical taste but after time it grew on me and now i'm very fond of it, Even HP gets left on, I just can not bare those shit bare bones remixes, TERRIBLE
How can you go from a masterpiece like Vogue to that,
      Jimmy Jimmy
      I Know It
Everything else i adore ..... just hope this MDNA album lives up to all the reviews

    2. i love incredible! especially the second part of it is SO sexy and it could stand as a song on its own. and i love american life album too :)

hanky panky is not that bad. its blond ambition tour performance was pure masterpiece!

regarding jimmy jimmy and i know it, these are the non official single songs that i like the most from the first album and true blue. and mer girl...i love it! its lyrics are so deep and the music so haunting :)

it seems we don't have the same taste :p

as for superstar, i guess it is going to be the 2nd madonna song i won't be listening in the future. the other one is dance 2night :)

i think mdna will be a fantastic album...fingers crossed :)

      Delete
    3. OMG ........ Dance 2nite is pure funk, The best song on that album, Next you'll be telling me you hate Into The Groove and Vogue, Lol

    4. haha NOOO....into the groove and vogue are too classics not to be loved!

  15. How people can not like ANY song from Music or Ray of Light is beyond me. The deep lyrics and flawless production, those songs will NEVER get old.

The reason 'Incredible' is so bad is the over-production. It's so lazy, almost plainful to listen to. I have to say, as amazing as Confesions was, i hated it ending 'Like It Or Not.' What a boring song, really cheesy lyrics as well.

The reviews for MDNA are AMAZING so far, even from NME. So i'm holding judgement until i hear it from start to finish. Even if it's completely shit, i'll still love M though.

    2. i watched DWT from start to finish last night, for the first time in 2 years or so, on my big new tv. so brilliant and m at her downright coolest if you ask me. as that tour was such a showcase for the albums ROL and Music, and as i love them in their own right, i have to agree with you. Music is a little more jarring but has some real pop gems on it. ROL is - perfection. i would not change a thing.

      Delete
    3. You are nuts. The DWT is her most BORING tour, well next to The Girlie Show, that she has ever done.

      BORING.

And it was the first tour of hers I saw live. Twice. Both times in LA. Just terrible.

The only tour, along with GS, I can't watch. Not to mention she forgot to do her hair and makeup for the show she used on DVD. Shame.

  18. Ok I don't hate it. Love the picture.
I think it will grow on me.
Ok, if we are listing the worst here are my top 5

    Supernatural
    Did You Do It
    Me Against The Music
    Hey You
    Candy Shop

    1. Hahah, Hey You!!! Oh God, I can honestly say that's the only Madonna song I've listened to only ONCE in my life.

      (I love Supernatural!! So silly)

  19. I think most of her songs need to be performed. I didn't really take to most of the releases until I saw a fan video or (with GGW) the music video. Hanky Panky is one of the best performances in her BA tour in her Gautier green corset, hankies and just a plain curtain and Nikki and Donna behind her. Let It Will Be isn't lyrically that complex but her performance from Confession is ridiculous. Impressive Instant is just electro layering, but it came alive when she did her pre-tour show at Brixton Academy. I don't think music videos and live performances would be what they are today without M.

  21. I like it. It's fun and reminds me of her early work, to some degree. These snippets are hard to pick though. A song in full, on an album heard in full changes it completely. A minute snippet taken out of context is like reading a page out of a book.

  22. I really like it. It's a simple pop song. There is nothing wrong with that. Just a be bop!
