  7. Here's my favorite five:

    1. I'm Addicted
    2. I Don't Give A
    3. I'm A Sinner
    4. Love Spent (Accoustic Version)
    5. Beautiful Killer

I like to mix it up a bit, so I created and burned my own version of MDNA and it includes all of the songs from the Deluxe Edition (except Give Me All Your Luvin' because I played it so much over the winter, I'm sick of it), plus these three awesome remixes:

    1. Turn Up The Radio (Lero Zero Remix)
    2. Girl Gone Wild (Lucky Date Remix)
    3. Gang Bang (Tracy Young Private Mix)

While I don't own the vinyl version (no turntable here), I did buy the regular and Deluxe versions to download, plus I bought physical copies of both and I bought & downloaded the Smirnoff Nightlife Edition from Facebook.

I've also given the MDNA Deluxe Version to two friends as gifts - and they're loving it, too!

  8. MDNA not only is Madonna's best record but her saddest as well. It certainly was the hardest to write. There are streaks and tracks of Sad Wet Tears in her lyrics and in her voice. And Inside, Madonna's All Still Wet! She is beside herself because she lost the second love and Best Friend in her life-Guy Ritchie! The Lady will always be a Girl Gone Wild but watch out-the Wet and Sad Tears come quickly and often. Sales figures and artistry do not necessarily mix! In the end, the Rock Critics-here's looking for you Joe Levy, Elysa Gardner, Simon Goddard and Lucy O'Brien-Y'All did Madge Proud on Decoder MDNA-More shout-outs go to Guy Oseary, Liz Rosenberg and Jimmy Iovine for brightening up Madonna's sparkling legacy and to Madonna herself for being brave in the face of such unconscionable and inconsolable sadness. Hey Madge-you're still my Lucky Star and Ray of Light! Key chapter of MDNA-Masterpiece!

  10. I disagree, I believe Like a Prayer has her best songs, best lyrics, and strongest vocals to date. I like MDNA, but vocally she sounds like she's helium half the time. I like her deeper voice, as in "Oh Father" and "Promise to Try". I notice nobody listed "Superstar". I have deleted the song because the lyrics are juvenile and it sounds like a Goldfrapp song.

    1. I don't think MDNA is her best album by any means but it's her best album in many years. My top 5 albums are:

      1. Madonna
      2. Erotica
      3. Like A Prayer
      4. True Blue
      5. Bedtime Stories

    4. Vocally, Madonna has only sounded this good on, 'Ray of Light'. 'Like a Prayer', to me, is still her best album, but it does not feature her best vocals. Not by a mile.

    5. Now that I think about it, she did sound more "soulful" on Bedtime Stories. Musically, she was on top of her game. Too bad it was seriously underrated. MDNA has good songs, I just don't care for Madonna singing a la "Minnie Mouse"...

      Delete
    6. Then you don't like her first album.

And if Minnie Mouse could sing 'Falling Free' then she would have been a big pop star and not just some Disney character.

    1. You can't take that she is still at the top of her game, can you? hehe. Madonna put out a much better album then that Manson/Tori Amos wannabe.

      Deal.

    2. Once again i have to agree with evrybdy- it is a decent album but i dont see it living the test of time. I do find some of the tracks very personal and angst ridden but the album for the most part bought me down, i was expecting something on the lines of Confessions or Ray of light and this album came across too pretentious and somewhat desperate. But like a moth to a flame, only i am to blame. I need to stop going back.

    3. Aww, this is how I feel about the , 'Ray of Light' album.

  16. Personally I don't care for this album much. Less than Hard Candy. There are good moments (Beautiful Killer instantly into my top Madonna tracks of all time). But too much of it is unremarkable. And he voice on Love Spent and others is terrible. And some of the commercial songs could have been sung by anybody.

I'm a huge fan but skipping too many tracks. I still love her and looking forward to the concert, But for me this is far far from her best.

    1. Aww, I feel the same way about the, 'Ray of Light' album, but many disagree with me. Whats your #1 M album? :)

    2. Hard Candy is a royal mess... at least MDNA is more cohesive and has songs with better lyrics.

    3. @Tony: I'm with you when it comes to ROL ; ) It's one of my least favourite albums along with Hard Candy. Mostly because it's the first post-Evita album with that white-washed voice... I agree with someone saying above, that vocally Like A Prayer was her best album. I loved that untrained, raw and soulfull voice of hers. Now it's like listening to singing lessons over and over again. I'm bored with that trained voice, it lacks attitude and drama.

    4. I loved Evita and her live voice before Evita was terrible. Now it is quite amazing. Especially since the DWT. Lament, You Must Love Me, etc. Beautifully sung.

Love when people say she sounds like a crow. Ive never heard a crow do broadway or sing before. Kinda funny.

  19. i wish gmayl, superstar and b-day never existed so the rest could make the standar album tracklist.then it would be my greatest of all. now i have to skip those songs and change to disc 2 for the rest, which is annoying.
(hard candy and mdna are the first albums since true blue, that i skip some songs.and that makes me ugry. i mean i very rarely or never heard of someone to like the songs i skip, so why are in the albums? for who?)

  25. Well, clearly from reading all these posts, Madonna needs to release "Love Spent" as a single. She hasn't released a good ballad in years, except for "Miles Away", which doesn't really count since it wasn't promoted and had no video.

I also think "Love Spent" has a LOT of remix possibilities. She should also release "I'm A Sinner". It reminds me a lot of "Like A Prayer".

I really do like "Turn Up The Radio", but I don't think it's the type of song that will chart. I don't understand how they decide which songs to release, but they do a pretty bad job of it, in my opinion. I love the whole electronic, disco sound that Madonna does in songs like that, but that's all she seems to release these days. I think a ballad would surprise people and maybe put an end to the whole "lip syncing" bullshit that her detractors always accuse her of. The acoustic version of "Love Spent" or "Masterpiece" would do really well.

All that aside, I am totally in love with MDNA!
