  2. Mmmmmm... My favourite track on MDNA. Lyrically and musically gorgeous and heartfelt, flawless vocals shining and warm and golden like a sun of honey, but with the sad bittersweet undertone of 'How could you, you fuck?' So glad she's doing it on tour. Thanks 4 sharing x

  3. This is fake.

She is not performing, 'Love Spent' on tour as of now. Shame, really.

  4. How do you know she's not doing it Tony, and how can you be so sure this recording's a fake?

    1. Because I know the setlist and I know the song is not being performed.

    2. Tony Ciccone has read a few articles online and thinks they're gospel - set in stone and that Madonna won't change a thing before opening night. Let's try and humor him. Yay, Tony, woo. U know everything! Wooo! Yawn. zzzzzzzzz

    3. I know everything because I know Love Spent isnt being performed? lol.

  6. I really HOPE she does Love Spent on this tour. It's my favorite track off MDNA. An acoustic version would be just fine with me. Tony...how do you know???

  7. As for Love Spent, I think she's going to do it. Although I do not think she is going to do Falling Free.

  8. Love Spent is easily the best song off of MDNA, even though it sounds a lot like Hung Up, e.g. it has the same bass line chord progression. It would be an obvious choice to segue Hung Up into Love Spent. BTW this "rehearsal" is a fanmade mix.

    1. Huh?

IN WHAT PLANET HUNG UP AND LOVE SPENT HAVE "THE SAME BASS LINE CHORD PROGRESSION"?

The bass line in Hung Up is much more complicated. And even if you simplify them and play those notes in chords, they are still very different.

      HUNG UP's chord progression is:

      Chorus: Dm, F, Am, Dm.
      Verse: Dm, Am, Dm.
      Bridge: Bb, F, Am, Dm.

      LOVE SPENT's chord progression is:

Verse and chorus: Am, C, G, AM
Bridge and second part of the song: C, Bb, F, Bb

Two different songs, two completely different bass line chord progressions.

    2. I didn't write they are in the same key. If you don't hear the similarity, then take a listen here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=og-PfRxfcNg

Just to be clear - I didn't make the above mashup.

    4. Honey, those are the CHORD PROGRESSIONS of the two songs YOU said they were the same. Well, they are not.

Just stop it now. The fact you are insisting just makes you sound even dumber.

So now that I have provided the chord progressions of both songs (which are completely different), you provide a link to a mash-up to prove they are the same?

Pathetic... dumb... ignorant... those are the words I can use to describe your attempt.

Hey look, here's a mash-up of Madonna's Hung Up and Gwen Stefani's Whatcha Waiting 4. Does that mean they have the same chord progression? And by that rationale, does that mean gwen Stefani's song has the same chord progression as Love Spent?

      What a delusional, ignorant logic!

    5. Sorry, Love Spent totally has the rolling synths from Hung up in a couple spots of the song.

      Anyone can hear it.

Same with Im Addicted. You can hear some of the same rolling synths or whatever from Future Lovers.

    6. GGW Project - how about keeping this at a civil level?

So you don't hear the similarities and others do. Big deal. I don't feel any need to convince you, whereas you obviously feel that this is a critique of Madonna and her song writing skills. Well, it's not. I love both songs. However, they do have similarities ;-)

    7. Please indicate the part I say I don't see any similarities between the songs.

They do have similarities, I never denied that, stupid fuck.

However, unlike what you said, they do NOT have "the same bass line chord progressions".

I already pointed that out. Instead of simply accepting you were wrong and that you don't even know what chord progression is, you insisted in your uneducated attempt to compare those two songs by providing a mash-up as evidence. LOL.

So let's just clear this up:

You were wrong, HUNG UP and LOVE SPENT do not have the same bass line chord progression.

Read my comments again, dumb fuck. You will see I never talked about how similar or different those songs are, I simply corrected your stupid, uneducated comment with the chord progression of both songs.

You should be thanking me for teaching you a lesson, I just taught you the chord progression of two songs that you didn't know (hence your allegations that they were the same).

      You are welcome.

    8. @Tony

Sorry, Tony. But you're a joke.

Do you even know how to read or are you just plain dumb?

Nobody is denying any similarities between any song.

My comment, in case you are too stupid to understand, simply corrected the affirmation that Love Spent and Hung Up have the "same bass line chord progressions".

They don't. The chord progressions on both songs, as I pointed out, are completely different. That's it, you stupid fuck. So what point were you trying to make by mentioning "the rolling synths" on those songs?

They are similar (they are played in different notes, by the way). Still, even with those similarities, the chord progression of those songs are completely different - and that's my point.

What's yours? You could not make any point regarding the topic discussed: chord progression, you dumb fuck.

    9. Okay, so you didn't get the part about being civil. Fair enough. You were right, I am wrong. Happy? :-)

  10. If she does do Love Spent live, I pray she keeps both the plucky banjo and uplifting ethnic girl and ditches the medival choir boys ...

  11. Yes! And I hope she takes out the chorus and verses too!!
