  1. So weird...they airbruhed the cross off and added a ring to her finger. I wonder why?!

    1. How do you know that?

You know, in the gif we see her hair being adjusted.

Adjusting her wardrobe by putting a ring in her finger could have easily happened right after the guy adjusted her hair. In fact, she has that same ring, but in the opposite hand. Check it out.

  2. The ring just switched hands. I bet they took the necklace off due to other airbrushing.
And the "M" is much more powerful without it.

  5. They should have released this for the US and around the world a month ago to help promote MDNA. Sigh...

Can't wait to see what the pics will be inside. Hope it's like the 1990 VF cover issue.

  8. This is to promote the truth or dare perfume right ? i bagged myself a counter stand yesterday, in superdrug store, There was only one on the counter, I was gonna steal it but my partner being the honest cunt that he is made me ask the check out girl, i had to spend £55 on some bastard Issey Miyake sport before she'd let me have it, she did throw in a truth or dare t-shirt too bless her....

I'm not a huge fan of the truth or dare smell however comparing it to Mariah Carey's awful candy bling sling its a right treat

  9. this could be such a beautiful shot without terrible photoshop.
she needs to stop caring about age. she's not a girl,
but there's nothing wrong in being a beautiful older woman.

    1. Odd comment. I don't think she looks like a girl she looks like a woman. It's also odd that you blame Photoshopping on Madonna? It's done with all magazines on young models all the time- and there are essays, blogs what have you about pros and cons in the industry about this which has nothing to do with Madonna. Caring about her age?- because she works out, takes care of herself and is wearing a piece of clothing you deem too young- she cares about her age??? I think the world is filled with jealous, depressed people who want her to give up and forget about everything she has achieved and can still achieve. I'm also disappointed in you a Madonna fan. Madonna's career has been a lot about fighting and standing up against narrow minded people non-modern thinking people and you are right there on the wrong side of history. Too bad!

    2. If Madonna didn't want to be photoshopped it wouldn't happen. she has her own 'digital imaging' team who take care of this at her request. just check some recent photo credits. and just because it happens all the time with models, that makes it ok? i think vb was talking generally as there are other examples aside from this cover where it's clear she is on a quest for youthfulness and whatever it might entail, aside from her looks. she once said she hated airbrushing (she cited Dave lachapelle) so the fact this is so common in her promotion nowadays says something.

anyway, and ive said this before, if she wanted to make an even bigger statement about growing older in this business she could have not had any surgery and remained natural in the face of the narrow-mindedness that exists about it. instead she has taken the more shallow stance of 'I'm old AND still hot, so there!', essentially feeding into society's prejudice about age, women and beauty, instead of truly rebelling against it.

anyway, I don't begrudge her for her choice to maintain herself but I do begrudge those who think comments like mine or vb's boil down to jealousy lol

    3. Dear evrybdygegeget,

"because it happens all the time with models, that makes it ok?"
if you scroll up again and read what i wrote i say that there are a million blogs, what have you, arguing about Photoshopping- we don't have time on a Madonna blog to argue it as well its also a waste of time. it exists, people do it i'm an adult without children so i don't have to explain to any one that not all bodies are perfect- i get it again i'm an adult.

At the end of the day i don't think it's mine, or your business to discuss what Madonna did to her face- it's her bloody face. I might even agree that she wants to say looking, feeling 'young" but i don't think that's a bad thing at all- we all do and i think it's healthy to want to stay mentally and physically young. She didn't just start working out- she always did it. Was she trying to stay young when she was young? As far as plastic surgery i think it's a modern form of what people already do, hair dye, makeup and the rich can afford it so the rest of the "common folk" have judgments against it because they are not used to it and frankly cannot have it done so easily so they are scared of it- and with reason there are complications although there are with coloring hair as well.

I don't think your comment is about jealousy i think it's an unexamined comment.

  11. I'm afraid I have to agree with the comments about 'air brushing'. Her face looks fine but it's her arms and breasts that look wrong to me - they are kind of featureless and it's very distracting and odd looking.

Having seen the photos inside I'm not sure why they've used this shot for the cover because she looks freakin' amazing inside. Really spectacular, just gorgeous.

  12. lol@anyone commenting on airbrushing.

Babies are airbrushed on diaper boxers. Madonna and every other human being, has been airbrushed/photoshopped since day one on any magazine cover.

    Deal.

Even with all the photoshopping, look how awful and how much older Lady Gaga looks. See, doesn't make anyone look good. If you are attractive, you will look good, if not and have no x or it factor, you just look like a bloated, buck toothed Lady Gaga :)
