I am dying to understand this logic: how do you have a better chance of getting closer to Madonna in a stadium?
The venue is bigger, there are more people in the attendance and the chances of standing further away from the stage is bigger. By the way, the stage is the same size in a stadium or arena. The only difference is the scaffolding and light and sound support structure that is needed in stadiums (in arenas, the hang everything from the roof).
Please explain the "better chance of getting closer to her" in a stadium.
Well, you see... actually, I can't be bothered. Work it out for yourself. Suffice to say, I've always been closer to M in stadiums than I have in arenas.
Lol, I always laugh when I watch Drowned World on DVD and see that person in a white jacket with their arms crossed in the back while she's performing Human Nature...
I think I can't watch the DVD because of how bad she made herself look with that hair that wasn't combed and her lack of make-up.
When I saw the show in person 3 times in Los Angeles, it was quite enjoyable.
Madonna also had a ton of make-up on, did her hair and was nice and tan getting ready to shoot Swept Away. Too bad they didn't use one of those dates as the tour DVd.
The emoty seats arent behind the stage. Look a little bit up (third section i would say) and you can see empty seats. This show wasnt sold out even tho Live Nation wants us to believe that.
Perfection.
ReplyDeleteabsolutely! I bet the show looks amazing in the smaller arena opposed to a stadium.
DeleteYup.
DeleteI'd never pay to see a show like hers in a stadium.
Well, I would and have. Arena's are better, but you do what you can when it comes to Madonna. At least for me.
DeleteI grew up watching Madonna's shows in stadiums so I prefer them to arenas... more room to dance and a better chance of getting closer to her.
ReplyDelete"a better chance of getting closer to her"????

Deletearenas are sooooooo much better
ReplyDeleteHmm....I can see quite a few empty seats here.
ReplyDeleteYou mean the seats almost behind the stage? lol
DeleteNobody with half a brain would buy those.
That was funny!!!!
DeleteThey never fill those seats at concerts because you don't get to see anything from there. It's behind the stage.
ReplyDeleteI remember on blond ambition and drowned world tour she did...
ReplyDeleteAnd after that, everybody started complaining...
DeleteExactly...
DeleteI'd like to see lady gaga's monster ball audience...
lol....

ReplyDeleteHorrible tour nd a horrible performance...
DeleteOn a fucking bull??? lol....
yeah.... DWT was the only Madonna tour that disappointed me aesthetically as well as musically.

ReplyDeleteWhy do you care? Do you think lady gaga's born this way/express yourself ball is doing better?
DeleteDo you think every seat has to be sold in order to be 'sold-out'? No. They set a certain amount of tickets and if those all sell, guess what?
IT'S FUCKING SOLD OUT, you used DOUCHE.
After the performance is over Madonna grabs her guitar and does a sadly beautiful acoustic unplugged version of Take a Bow!
