#Madonna New Video Interview - 4 Parts

Madonna sat down and spoke to an interviewer in Italy, shortly after the nip slip. She discusses The Pope, song selection for her show, being a strong female in society, and even on going to Australia after 19 years.

That's the nature of live. You never know what's going to happen. - Madonna on Nip Slip in Part 2

  2. I L-U-V her tour makeup this time around. It nods back to the Blond Ambition World Tour 90. She just needs the beauty mark and a deeper shade of red for the lips.

  3. I love the laughter when talking about her daughter smoking for the "first time". But, in this interview she seems a little dead in the eyes. Probably exhausted from tour. Gorgeous all around..just her soul/eyes are dead

    1. She really looks exhausted. I hate saying that. I don't want her to be, I don't expect her to be ~ but after this interview she makes it very clear that she is HUMAN. It took a really long time for Madonna to admit that. very cool, interview.

  4. I can't put my finger on it but something is concerning her- it's been like this for the past month.

    1. yes this is what I mean...she seems pre-occupied with something. Not full of life like usual. Maybe album sales

    2. I mean..look at the still above of the videos. She is miserable lol

    3. I totally agree Luke, something is UP. I know it might sound stupid to say, but after many listens to MDNA, it's obvious she really was hurt (almost blindsided) by Guy. I really really think she was prepared to spend the rest of her life with him and he just went on and fucked her over. There is a pain that radiates ~ she comes across as strong (as she has always done) but this time... this time it's weird. a little (just a little) lost for the first time... anyone agree?

    4. Album sales? Based on WHAT? (as she has mentioned regarding Erotica) ~ Radio is SO different now. Success is no longer "main stream" ~ so what her songs aren't playing on the radio ~ Music choices have become personal now. What's hard to understand is that we came from HER era when she first made it big, Like a Virgin, Into the Groove, Gambler, Crazy for You AND Angel were ALL PLAYING in rotation on our RADIO. (never forget Summer '85)- not like that anymore. I hate comparing but GaGA should really be exploding right now ON THE RADIO. instead, she has 89 Billion Twitter Followers. Go figure. I sound OLD!

  5. Her honesty is what appeals to me. Thank you Madonna for giving me a voice. You inspire me even though you're sad sometimes. May you never lose your vulnerability or better yet-zest for the Ray of Light and Celebration Dance of Life!

  6. she's fucking tired. who wouldnt be. she has been on the go promoting, shooting, rehearsing, and performing since last August. she seemed very real to me.

  7. She looks fantastic. Of course she is tired. She has 4 children and does a 2-hour show almost every night.

She is not worried about album sales. lmao. Someone who doesn't promote an album doesn't care too much about it's sales. Trust me ;)

    1. Do YOU really think she is NOT promoting THIS album? Seriously? I think, it comes across as ...being so PROUD of her work. What? because she isn't on the radio? It's just not like that anymore. I see grammy's for THIS album. Seriously.

  8. She is tired. Who wouldn't be putting on a show like this for months on end. But, I found in the interview that she was honest and real. Let lady Madonna rest and stop doing silly interviews. The tour is the most important thing now. Rest, perform, rest!

Thanks Madonna for enduring such a treacherous tour to appease fans!

  9. Is this the interviewer from that famous Ray Of Light interview when the 'language barrier' led to Madonna getting really pissed? You know the one in the lilac suit circa Power of Goodbye?

Anyway, good interview. The lighting person should be shot.

    1. Shot?

She looks amazing. Her skin looks flawless.

The lighting person who did the 60 minutes interview back in 1999. Now THEY should be shot.

    2. Yes it is. It is Stina Dabrowski. She's interviewed her many times over the years. The Ray of Light interview you're thinking of, the Bed Time stories interview where she asks her about the abortions, and so on.

I think it's interesting. I think Stina is a strong woman too and when they encounter each other sparks can fly. Different interviewers draw different responses from their subjects. It's part of the mix.

I agree with others here, she looks exhausted. It's just part of the job and she's putting in her hours. Call me an asshole but those eyelashes have got to go. Who the fuck put those on her? Rocco?

  10. @Tony. There will always be hysterical gays who will be the first to point out that Madonna looks tired or that she looks like she has no soul in her eyes, or that she, God forbid, looks like a 53 year-old who is well preserved, rather than the 27 year-old they desperately imagine she is. Are these "fans" moonlighting as "journalists" for the Daily Mail?

The interview is wonderful, and even if Madonna clearly wishes she was somewhere else, her answers are eloquent, insightful, diplomatic and intelligent. There is no other famous persona I can think of with her poise and elegance. She is unparalleled. We are really so lucky to have her.

  11. Ugh, that interviewer was on my last nerve, clearly she was on M's as well. Now I know why she looked so tense in those shots in the car w/ Mercy. It was most likely after this interview.

  12. Listen to the birds sing ??? Pahahahaha yea right, She does look bored though, but wouldn't you be after you've been asked the same set of questions in every drowning interview for the past 30 fucking years,

  13. Thank you Pud for posting. I am amazed at her STILL after all these years. Such a great interview. Really makes the human side come out. I find that as she gets older she admits more of how lucky she is. True fans (sometimes) call her a cunt, but really, what choice does she have? So many adore her. So many just want to say SOMETHING to her. She needs to disconnect and if she comes across as a bitch then?. She is getting older and she just made ME feel a little older but I really enjoy growing older with HER. Amazing life, tremendous inspiration. I think all of the replies (above) speak for themselves. Again - thank you for posting...CANNOT WAIT TO SEE HER IN Atlantic City in September!!!

  14. Where as she seemed to flirt with the Devil back in the days, now she just looks like she works for him. And i dont think its the album sales or anything like that, it seems that Madonna has become aware of how she is being used and is already neck deep into her contract with the Devil. Lets just say Madonna is a clever cookie or she would have found herself in the same company as Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston, but she is also a mortal which has never been more evident then in this interview.

  15. Cool interview, a nice side of Madonna coming out. I'd love to know more about which of her back catalogue she really objects to and why. Her tours always seem to consist of a mix of her current stuff and her old hits. There are alot of great album tracks inmo that she never goes near these days. On the other hand its impressive that she contunes to produce new music and isnt touring greatest hits shows or picking an album to tour like a lot of artists from her era are doing now. Does she not go horse riding anymore?

  16. I ♥ Madonna's smile:) She just seems very tired from touring and as she mentioned her lack of sleep. It's no myth that women need their proper beauty rest. I've had those same under eye circles from no sleep. I continue to be amazed at her ability to do everything she does with such brilliance and vitality! I hope to be half the woman she is at 53! She will always be the standard of the perfect woman for which I will aspire and strive to measure up to, but know I never will. She is more than deserving of her Queen status and should wear her crown proudly!!! ♥ ♥ ♥

  17. Rude and stupid interviewer,by the voice I can tell that it`s that italian bitch who`s a total fail as a journalist ... but Madonna though, great and kind as always here
