  1. it's a good tour, we're waiting for the dvd, but i think it's less original than the past tours

I'm doing a research project about Lady Gaga, Madonna and Michael Jackson. Would you help me writing comments about your favorite performances of them on TV? Thank you very much.

    1. Nobody is waiting for the DVD and you haven't seen the tour in person and it's more then obvious you arwe a Lady Gaga loon by your 'poll' page. Saying Lady Gaga has never lipsynched? LOL RIIIIGHT!! She uses backing tracks all the time. She tries to dance and sing and is so out of shape that she sounds horrible live.

You crack me up with your page lol

  2. The MDNA Tour is her best in years! Not to dis her recent tours. I love the costumes and set list and I realy love that she isn't changing her hits too much. AND SHE LOOKS SEXY AND FUN!

  6. She's really giving a throwback to past incarnations in this one which is nice. The fans love it and those past incarnations are why her fans made her famous.

  8. I am a big fan but was disappointed by this so-called Behind The Scenes promo:
-poorly recorded live footage (Guy O.'s iPhone?)
    -not enough Madonna in it
-too much focus on the dancers (where r back up singers, wardrobe depo, artistic director etc?)

  9. Meh. I don't think she is queen of life. I think she is queen of marketing and strategy. It's all an illuson Puddy.

  10. I don't know if it's just me, or what. But, she doesn't seem to be enjoying herself. On past tours, you could just SEE the fun she was having. On the 2 documentary's that I've seen about MDNA tour, she says that she has never felt this kind of tension or bad energy. Sadly, to me, it shows. I really hope that she finds her groove and a way to be really happy by the time September rolls around.

    1. Are you serious? LOL!

She never said she has bad energy. It's 'grueling work'. A term she has used since 1990's Blond Ambition tour, OVER 20 YEARS AGO!!!

      lol.

  11. ***On the 2 documentary's that I've seen about MDNA tour, she says that she has never felt this kind of tension or bad energy.***

I think it's because of the way that the album has been received by the public. After so long away, and after the relatively disappointing reception of Hard Candy, expectations were high, and I get the feeling that Madonna thought she would be embraced by the word again. But, as we know, what actually happened is that MDNA dropped off the charts with record speed. That must make going out night after to play a number of songs that she knows a lot of people in the crowd neither know, nor care about, pretty grueling.

And then there's ticket sales. I hope she's selling out but with no major new hits to encourage people to shell out to see her, she could well be playing to more empty seats than she's done at any point in her career. If true, that must feel pretty 'negative'.

I dunno. Even as a fan, which I have been since the start, this really doesn't feel like a great time for Madonna, and I'm hopeful this is just a blip rather than the beginning of the end.

    1. It also debuted at #1 around the world with record speed. don't forget to add that ;)

    2. And Erotica didn't feel like a good time to be fan or bedtime stories, etc.

      Stop being dramatic.

    3. he didn't say it wasn't a good time to be a fan, he said it wasn't a good time for Madonna. Which I tend to agree with somewhat and I go back to my original post.
I have looked at every performance of Vogue from MDNA tour so far and she looks so friggn' bored with herself. The dancers are NOT as good as the ones from Superbowl and it shows onstage. I just hope that by the time MDNA comes this way, she'll be more into it with her North American fans.

    4. lol ur nuts.

i think her dancers for BA sucked, so we all have opinions, just like assholes :)

  12. when she talks about tension i think she also means the stress on her and her team of creating the tour off the back of everything she's done in the past 6 months (album, superbowl, commercials etc). that, and the harsh way those two choreographers manage the dancers. i get the feeling jamie king doesn't tell his dancers to shut the fuck up.

  13. From what I have seen, this tour would cause anyone tension and stress. Madonna is giving it all that she has to appease her fucking bitch ass fans that complain about everything she does.

Enjoy the show. It looks brilliant.

    1. it IS brilliant... seen first hand, front row of the pit... cannot get better than that...

  14. honestly... don't know what you guys are talking about. I just saw her live last saturday in Amsterdam. I was lucky enough and won the golden triangle wristband. I was front row in the pit, and believe me, she was enjoying herself, really having fun. I'll have to say that by far this has been the concert i have enjoyed the most live. I did get front row in confessions tour too, and i did enjoy it, but this tour is way more impressive visually. As a spectacle, it is her best effort to date. I was surprised how well the non-hits (revolver, candy-shop, and all the songs of MDNA that are not singles, and will not be) work live. really, wait till you see it live. it is a great tour. she is working it. ah... why am i even writing? if you wanna be negative, go on, be negative.... but i had such an incredible time... and here in Holland the reviews have been amazing. so well... who needs enemies when you can have fans to put you down?

    1. Exactly.

And most of these 'fans' are now Lady Gaga fans.

That really says a lot. lol

    2. Thanks Tony. oh! and btw, I have to say one thing... it really amazed me in Amsterdam's concerts the amount of young fans she has... and real fans: they were there for her, knew the lyrics, the choreographies... you know, the real deal (not the "i'm a fan, but... what was that song she did? never heard it")
it implies, that M keeps connecting with younger generations. It was refreshing to watch for me... and cool mix of generations in the audience.
perhaps i noticed more now than in other concerts cause I am getting older myself and feel more the difference, but whatever... what i wanted to say is how ferociously protective of M some of those youngster were... someone mentioned LGaga and it got very funny... that's all i'll say! lol

  15. MDNA is Madonna's second opera where she lives to tell her life story. An American masterpiece. Mozart, Chopin and Beethoven would be extremely proud of Lady Ciccone!
