Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute Gala benefit in honor of the museum’s latest exhibit, “Punk: Chaos to Couture.” May 6, 2013 in New York.
OMG! She can't stop making a fool of herself. Horrid outfit to begin with. Not for her age. She's still playing with crosses, it's so passé. She should disrespect another religión for a change, like a fucking jewish star for. Her face is plumpler and bigger than ever, even bigger her body, with that protruding, newly implanted-chin. There's something wrong with her upper lip, like it's less defined. The sad sight of that HUGE face makes her look as if she has no neck at all. She's a giant walking face! That wig... my God, that wig. Awful. I know her hair is now sparse but she should chose a wig less youthful, one that matches her aging, filled face. I feel sorry for her, so tiny, so embarrasing, so desperately trying to be trendy. Nobody respects her as an artist and still has no cred after all these years. It's touching.
Half funny, half serious. How would you feel if your grandmother comes up with such an outfit publicly? Won't you stop her? C'mon, be serious. Don't start with that ageism shit and bores alike. Madonna's prime is long gone. Everybody laughs behind her back at her attempts to be percieved as sexy and trendy. I thought she was smarter. She would develop a new self and leave all that sexy shit behind for ever. It's disgusting and bizarre. And let's face it: she was never hot, men were never excited by her, not even in the virgin days. Masculine women are never appealing to men. This I know as a straight man.
As far as I know Madonna isn't a grandmother yet. And no, I wouldn't stop my grandmother from wearing what she wants, from saying what she wants, from thinking what she wants, from acting any way she wants... as long as she feels fine and she doesn't hurt anyone or herself.
Honestly, I am more bored by people being offended by Madonna or - more precisely - being offended by the way she dresses. Why should she dress herself like an ordinary grandmother? Is there a rule or something?
Madonna gives zero fucks what the haters think, OK, but sEVERYBODY (either haters or people in general) gives zero fucks whatever she does: records, films, documentaries, you name it. And I don't hate Nonna. Not at all. Who said that? I hate what she has become. She hasn't evolved cleverly with the times. Instead she got stuck in a sexual personnae that no longer exists. But what I REALLY, really hate is that whole Malawi/Kabbalah shit that took all the fun from her and fed her inflated and boring sense of messianism. Please Nonna: give us good pop records. You're no other than a pop singer.
People are not ofended by Madonna, that may has happened back in the early 90s, when she was relevant. Now people are either bored or feel sorry for her.
bahahaha what's to feel sorry about you half wit? I'm pretty certain everyone on this Madonna blog feels sorry for you. I know I do.
she's a living legend, she is a working artist who makes a living STILL making art and has so much wealth that she decided to help out an impoverished country in her spare time. she was invited to a gala with a theme and dressed up for that theme and thats that. just because you are an ageist and a fool for thinking you can write bullshit on a Madonna fan page really speaks volumes for how lonely and sad you are.
When it comes to defend La Nonna, you fans are full of all kinds of ISMs. Ageism is the new word you use to justify Nonna's embarrasing behaviour. Come on, it's not hate, it's common sense. Keeping up with her sexual personnae gets harder with the passing of time and this struggle is making her desperate. She's said and done everything she could about sex. Stop. Turn the page. Should she relax and be more authentic she'd be a much more happy person, less tense, and that would echoe her music too. I think this has to do with her large string of flops. It's just my opinión. Doesn't Nonna say "express yourself?" Well, I'm expressing myself. I love you all.
THE QUEEN <3 <3 <3
