perpetuating guns and violence.....not a good move if you ask me, especially for a mother of 4. kids are killing kids in schools. let's not glorify guns please. thank you.
Let's wait to see how they are used, shall we? Drowned World also included violence but "it made sense."
However, if they are used just because, or, as you say, to glorify them, I'm completely in agreement. Which is why Revolver is my least favorite song of hers----a pacifist singing a song from a rapper that chose a really unfortunate and ultimately stupid metaphor.
DWT did make sense until the attacks on 9/11. Then in Madonna's subsequent shows, instead of shooting the guy, she went over to him and hugged him.
I just get a little creeped out with the gun imagery she sometimes uses in her work. If you remember in the American Life single cover, she was holding a gun, but then it was later removed before it was released. I guess she's back to making statements with guns.
I think the only one time she used a gun in her work that didn't bother me was in the WTG Tour. Revolver as a song doesnt bother me that much either because there isnt a video to go along with it. But she knows what she's doing because whenever she visualizes something, it becomes more potent. So we'll all just have to wait and see.
HOT DAMN I WOULD LOVE HER TO DO WHITE HEAT!!! And I really can't wait to hear Revolver live, love that song. Its probably Gang Bang, but hey maybe she'll do them all in a gangster set!
Gotta be Gang Bang! BUT, If Madonna is doing this without a solution, I would be very disappointed. Violence in a Madonna show is great as long as there is a point to it and resolution. I am sure she is aware of this. Looks like a very theatrical show! CANNOT wait!
Gang bang?
