  1. OUCH! Never saw this! It is known that Madonna "borrows" from everyone and everything. From her photo shoots to videos, her stuff is inspired by a lot of things and she isn't shy about it either. I love me some Culture Club! Its sad and I feel for the Boy but YES, it's the same video. The only difference? Nobody saw his!

  2. "The only difference? Nobody saw his!" ahhaha.

they have an interesting 'relationship'. i dont think she forgave him for a long time from the first snub when her and martin went over to london to see him in 82/3.

  3. I don't think she ever did either. Also, they were both new acts around the same time...not sure he forgave her for taking the spotlight. It's been a love/hate for a long time. Still, before he got arrested, he was to go on a US tour and was coming this way...I was excited to see him. Although Madonna is my BE ALL, Culture Club was part of my childhood as well.

  5. The ironic thing is that Madonna has worked with director Jean-Baptiste Mondino on several of her videos including 'Justify My Love', 'Don't Tell Me' and 'Hollywood'. Their first collaboration was 'Open Your Heart' which preceded the Boy George video. Maybe Boy stole the idea of the working with him from Madonna?
