  8. The Scoop:
The date was May 21, 1984 at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Madonna and Nile were in the thick if recording her album, "Like A Virgin" when he invited her as his guest to a Duran Duran concert. Nile had recently produced their album "Seven and the Ragged Tiger", which they were promoting at the time.
Madonna said of the evening, "If Nile hadn't taken me, I don't think I would have found myself there." This was the rumored night that Simon LeBon looked up her skirt. At least now we know which skirt! In fact that was the day she shot with Putland: you can even see her purple sunglasses clip on her right shoulder. She went home that night from being "sick" on champagne. I think she was bored. And gorgeous.
