Clearly Klein was not inspired in this shoot, that must surely rank as one of the worst Madonna photoshoots ever. Eventually one photo made the cover of French Vogue, but the rest is just awful. Madonna looks as an old French prostitute waiting for an occasional customer.
I loved the Re-Invention photoshoots. I thought it was a return to interesting and creative, character-based photo shoots. From 2001-2003 it was very fashion based shoots, but this was a shoot with references and character. Love it.
