Solid as a Rock

Shot in 2008, these outtakes from Vanity Fair show that at 50, Madonna exhibits an extraordinary physique. Not airbrushed, she is in optimum form and as beautiful as ever. I prefer these un-retouched photos. Absolutely amazing.

  1. I agree. She looks amazing here. The re-touched photo makes her like alien-like.

  3. Don't know why vanity fair retouched SO HARD the cover photo, didn't need at all, outtakes are more much better than original cover!

  5. The Vanity Fair cover was actually ruined by airbrushing. It made her look bad. These are great shots...

  6. there's something particularly odd about her face here - same with the rock & roll hall of fame appearance... something seems out of proportion on her face... the cheeks? the lips? too much makeup? juviderm? restalyn, perhaps? no doubt she is beautiful, but also freshly plumped :)

  7. @brian: I think it might be her hair, she did look really strange at this point, especially at R&RHOF. *shudders*

  9. "Perfect"? Well, that's certainly one way to look at her.

I'm with some other fans on here...she looked very odd during this time. The problem was that during this era was the premiere of "the cheeks" and they were extremely prevelant, in an odd and scary way. They've calmed down a lot in the past few months, and for the most part, benefit her...but those cheeks have been a curse and a gift at the same time.

Hated this look...she just looks like a muppet...plastic, odd cheeks, just dreadful. Howver, she does what she feels she needs to do to remain a force in pop culture, and to her, looking "young" is still important to her career. It's a double edged sword really, she's fucked if she gets the cheeks, and she's fucked if she doesn't.

But yeah..the R&R Hall of Fame appearance was an absolute nightmare. She looked horrible.

Nice to see the outtakes though. She looks a hell of a lot more "natural" here than she did for the final VF cover.

  10. If looking like a man is your idea for looking in optimus shape, well, she indeed does.

  11. Here we go leprechaun aka chupacabra aka dot dot dot (...) has crawled up from under it's rock again. It does not really matter if M looks like a man or a woman, you are talking and obsessing about her - every single pathetic day of your life LOL. You wish you looked like a man or a woman but unfortunately you are a worthless hybrid of he/she/alien who no one would ever touch, leaving you to play with your 2 inch dick / pussy combo while spewing hatefuleness lol. No wonder your parents wished they could go back in time and abort your pathetic life LOL. Call Jenny you fat piece of shit and stop eating already LOL.
