  1. pud, there was an hour long documentary back in the spring/summer of 2002 (on A&E i believe, or it might've been the biography channel) about madonna's financial assets and her estimated total net worth (up until that time). i'm not sure if you've seen it or have heard about it, but if you can find a copy somewhere, you should post it. i remember catching about 40 minutes of it and it never re-aired (to my knowledge) and i have looked for it everywhere online with no success.

it's a fascinating piece and i know your blog visitors/readers would find it interesting. =D

p.s. i do remember that it was introduced by chloe sevigny and the narrator/host was british.

  2. one of my all-time favorite madonna things to watch! i remember them showing this all the time in 1990 during that madonnathon weekend where kurt and john norris, i believe, sat in a chair in the middle of a room with big posters or standups of madonna behind them. gawd mtv was amazing back then

  4. Jeremy: I think you're talking about 'Madonna's Millions' from BBC2 back in 2003 I think. Was interesting hearing from close associates about how she handled her business.

My favourite documentary is still BBC's Omnibus from December 1990.

  6. I've never understood why she says that the first video she ever made was "Borderline." (around 8:10 in the first video)

What about "Everybody," "Burning Up" and "Lucky Star"???

  7. Poor Pud, he just has to keep searching into the attic for prehistoric stuff because whatever Maddie does today is so fucking boring, irrelevant and uninteresting.
    Sad

  9. Oh, let ... say what she wants. Madonna is 52. Gaga is 24. Let's see all the pap pics of Gaga now where she looks awful in all of them, then compare them to how Madonna looked at 24 in 1983 and see how Madonna looked then. So funny that ... thinks a 52yo woman should still look like she is in her early 20's with no flaws. almost like she is not a human being who is actually alive. so weird.

another of my faves is when she goes back to all her old haunts - rehearsal spaces, local shops etc.(think it was around her ray of light period when she filmed it)
