Your welcome - I had to do an extensive search myself last year when I posted it on my blog. I had the article in my scrapbook since 1989 and never could recall what mag it was from. I have tons of People articles & photos to post..if you come across something else your not sure about send me a message.
It's an interesting piece, considering how many other artists/singers/actors, etc. they name in the piece that they cite as Madonna referencing, and in some ways, copying.
Yet, they praise her for it in this piece.
The thing with Madge is that despite her referencing all of these other entertainers, there was always a part of who she is/was within those incarnations.

Cristian i totally agree with you. it's a great article and, yes, Madonna has changed millions faces through her career but she was always herself.
