  1. She should've stayed brunnette for the tour, so much better.

She did the Vogue video before the tour right? I mean was it after she dyed her hair blonde for the tour or she did Vogue first, then was with black hair for a while and then went back to blonde for the tour?? Confused about the timeline here.

  5. @Ramón H.: I thought the same thing before i read your comment. I'm confused, too. But i think your second choice is right. Vogue video should have been done at that time because this brunette hair took place on The Immaculate Collection artwork and album includes Vogue.

  6. The Immaculate Collection artwork and Blond Ambition Tour book photo shoot took place Dec 17, 1989 these photos were taken sometime in Jan, 1990 and the 'Vogue' video was shot in early Feb, 1990 hope that clears that up for you :)

  7. i'm most puzzled over the trench coat... was this supposed to be worn for La Isla Bonita? hmmmm... why?? lol.. good choice in cutting that one out. the EY corset/suit & KIT outfit are the best pieces, IMO, hands down!

  10. Such an odd tour. Some of her best performances ever: Express Yourself, Keep It Together, yet also includes many of her worst: Material Girl, Cherish, Into the Groove, all the Dick Tracy songs...

    Love the pics!

  11. @Envy10: thanks for the clear-up on the timeline!

@Slide: yes. the trench coat was supposed to be part of the original inclusion of La Isla Bonita, which was going to have a rainstorm type of theme. La Isla...was eventually scrapped, and replaced by Like a Virgin, with its gorgeous/brilliant Egyptian theme.
