  2. This list seems pretty incomplete to me - not a single date in New York CIty? Strikes me as odd.

  3. Evidently,"Chinese authorities want to know what songs Madonna will perform and have also sent a list of songs Madonna is not allowed to sing in China. Among them "Material Girl" and "Erotica." Madonna would really like to perform in China."

  4. Hell no! And I don't think this list is correct, e.g. there is no 'Casa Arena' in Horsens in Denmark. Last time she played here on a field and her screens and loudspeakers were way too small for the 80,000 people that had paid to see her.

  5. After the terrible experience I had at Sticky & Sweet/Wembley Stadium (couldn't see her, could barely hear her, fights breaking out, drinks being thrown) I'd skip a stadium trip this time. Let's wait and see. Seems like a long long tour. I'm not sure the other tours have covered six whole months?

  6. Oops - there is actually a 10,700 seater 'Casa Arena' in Horsens. Maybe I should go.

  7. This is a draft. In the past, a list of cities had been released and dates had been added and changed as time went by.

Note that only the dates in BOLD letters have been confirmed. The last confirmed show in Europe is in London, July 3rd. Then she moves to the US and performs in East Rutherford, NJ (across the river from NYC) on July 13.

Even if they confirm a Spain concert in between London and NJ, there is plenty of time for Madonna to add at least 4 shows at the Madison Square Garden in NYC and still have a couple of days off in between those shows.

She has also reserved the "city of rock" (where the Rock In Rio festival happens) in Brazil for November, which indicates that, after the US, she'll go down to South America again.

  9. Only one Toronto show seems odd, but possible. However, if it's at The Rogers Centre, we're in trouble -- horrible arena for concerts soundwise.

And Moncton, New Brunswick? Has she ever bothered to play there? It seems WAAAAAAAYYYY too small, especially if there's only a plan for two Canadian dates!

  10. Good thing there is an Arena show here near me in California! There is no Coliseum in Oakland anymore, hasn't been for years. lol. It's the Oracle Arena and she played S&S there, where I saw her 5th row. Woohoo for her one off arena here in Cali! :P

  11. whats the difference between an arena show and a stadium? im not sure i understand any of it. help me and others please?

  12. A stadium can hold like 50,000 people and is usually outdoors. Football games or other large sports events are held there. So if you get seats not up close, you are like 5 miles back and can't see shit. An arena hold like 15,000, so you can see pretty good anywhere, as long as you are not on the side or behind the stage.

  13. FUCK THIS! Guess I'm not going to this tour. I'm not flying to see Madonna again. Especially in a fucking stadium. Hope you all in those territories have a good time!

  14. If she plays big stadiums i'll be going only to the one in my city. Im not gonna fly and spend money to see her in a huge place. I hope she plays arena this time.
I saw her at the Dodger Stadium on the "Stinky and Shit Tour" and it was so bad. The show was bad and the venue was bad. Horrible experience.

  15. hahaha - "stinky & shit tour" - sounds fucked up!

I saw it in Berlin in 08 and one year later in Munich - both first row, both great shows.

    dont't get the citicism.

for the upcoming tour, I'd love to see her in a smaller venue - like DWT in 01 at Max Schmeling Halle, Berlin, where she played four shows in a row.
whatever comes, it will be great 'cause, like Pharell said, "It's HER!"

  16. Live Nation: “As much as we would love it to be real, the Madonna article going around is a hoax.”

  17. right... right... where's the other leg?

  18. @GOX if you're in the front row there's nothing to criticize. I saw S&S at the O2 in London, second row and it was brilliant. The previous year at Wembley Stadium I was at the mid-way point on the pitch and it was totally horrible for the reasons mentioned above. She's have to pay me to do the same thing again.

I think the majority of people in stadiums have a bad experience.

  19. Sticky & Sweet was a fantastic tour. People who hated Sticky & Sweet probably thought the DWT and TGS were incredible. lol

  20. Now that we know it's fake, I am back on track. PLEASE play cowboy stadium in Dallas/Arlington. It's been 21 years! And I don't get the hate for Sticky and Sweet either. It was a proper well done tour to me. Stadiums still suck.
