  2. As much as I don't like the whole Truth Or Dare brand concept, I am REALLY REALLY curious about the perfume. Madonna famously smells good so you just know she's going to have paid a lot of attention and made sure this smells exactly how she wanted. I like the bottle a lot. It doesn't look like anything else out there and that's a challenge with so many on the market.

How boring do I sound? Wonder if it'll be out by Christmas?

  3. Madonna stated…
I have always been obsessed by fragrance and for years wanted to create something personal that was an expression of me, but that other people could relate to as well. Something classical and timeless and yet modern. My oldest memory of my mother is her perfume. I carry it with me everywhere.
She always smelled like gardenias and tuberose, an intoxicating mixture that was feminine and mysterious. I wanted to re-create this scent, but with something fresh and new about it as well. Something honest and yet daring – hence the name Truth or Dare.

I love how she speaks of her mother, - its very touching.
Its also nice to see her working so close with Fabien Baron on the bottle and campaign, he brings out madonnas heritage with her religious symbols. the bottle reminds of almost as if were something you'd see in the vatican. no? She's one smart cookie!

  10. Love the logo - hoping for more religious iconography this go around - especially if Mert and Marcus bring it like they did for the Interview shoot!

  14. Nice logo and I'm sure it will smell nice, but I don't like the design of the bottle. Reminds me of a coffin and it looks cheap.

  15. But the thing is, it WON'T be cheap ;)

  18. I don't think it looks "cheap" at all. I'm assuming that it's milk glass, or frosted glass. Which, is quite reminiscent of holy water bottles.

Even, the rounded cap alludes to that. Rather than an un-inspired design that doesn't symbolically represent anything, like many perfume bottles, this one actually has a story.

Of course there is going to be a group of people that can and will complain about everything and anything Madonna produces or fails to produce.

  19. It grew on me. At first glance I didn't care for it but now that I see the milk glass and the details I think it does look luxurious.

  20. Of course it looks like a coffin? That's the point. Catholic imagery.
