Those Monsters are at it Again

Lady Gaga's monsters are at it again. They started a RIP MADONNA that trended on twitter. Madonna's manager Guy Oseary has tweeted that The Queen is alive and well.

In other news, from the new issue, Rolling Stone has compared Madonna and Lady Gaga's upcoming tours.

  1. All I want to say is that, all of this is coming from LADY GAGA DIRECTLY. Lady Gaga is internet saavy, and everytime other artist comes out with an anouncement, wether it be Madonna, britney, katy, whoever, she goes to her social media accounts and releases some inane, dreadful BULLSHIT to steal the limelight from that person, on the same day. It's true. If you don't believe me, look it up.

Lady Gaga and her team also use every opportunity to generate publicity, specially celebrity deaths. When Amy Winehouse died she inmediately came out with a statement saying they were friends and kindred spirits when in reality, Wino couldn't even stand her and spoke negatively of her on her own social media, when somebody asked her if she would ever make a duet with Gaga, Winehouse replied FUCK HER.

When Whitney died, Lady Gaga automatically came out saying she had met Whitney at the grammys and was motherly towards her, etc etc etc, when in reality Whitney was FREAKED OUT by Gaga and her "Halloween Costumes", Whitney most certainly did not approve of Gaga, yet Gaga shamefully benefitted from her death.

When are people going to realize that this bitch is DESPICABLE and all the filth her fans do comes directly from her and her team.

And I CAN'T FUCKING BELIEVE that Madonna only has 7 million facebook fans. I can't believe it. To all the Madonna fans who think they are "to cool for school" by not having a facebook, stop drinking your own koolaid and GET A FUCKING FACEBOOK ACCOUNT AND YOU LOOK UP THAT PAGE AND YOU FUCKING LIKE IT, GODDAMN IT, THIS IS FUCKING HUMILLIATING FOR HER TO ONLY HAVE 7 MILLION, FUCKING HUMILIATING.

    2. the part they didn't add is that madonna's team just recently got a facebook page- she doesn't do the twitter or social media shit. gaga did it right when she came out because when she started she had no fan base at all so she needed it. madonnas numbers will go up and surpass gaga's. give it time

    2. I agree. that number seems off. and her worth with people illegali downloading now and record companies even going broke how does madonna only have a net of 500 million in a three decade career and how does gaga have that number?

      bad journalism

    1. WHAT THE FUCK ru on about 'FACEBOOK' FOR...like it's a requirement if ur a popstar to have a 'facebook page'. Do you honestly believe that having one means you have better 'record sales'.
Because if that is what your saying..then your talking our of ur arse my friend. What do you think used to happen before 'facebook & twitter'..people sold f/kin records..alot infact.
So please i take ur point about 'gaga' but for christ sake don't bring f/kin social network shit into this.

    2. I didn't say that facebook likes translate into sales, if that were the case, LadyGaga would sell 40 millions albums, and she doesn't bitch is flopping hard, but having said that, why does Madonna's facebook has to have only 7 million likes and gaga 8 times more likes? Madonna fans are more numerous but they are too cool to use the computer?? MOVE ON WITH THE WORLD AND WELCOME TO 2012, SOCIAL MEDIA IS HERE TO STAY AND IT CAN REFLECT GOOD ON AN ARTIST, OR IT CAN REFLECT BAD ON THEM. IN THIS CASE, IT REFLECTS BAD ON MADONNA because her fans are still stuck in 1982, in a pre-Facebook world.

    3. The ONLY reason GMAYL isn't charting high in some countries is because of the fucking MDNA pre-sale!

The sales are going toward the album and therefore, the single can't chart based on those sales. You have to actually SEARCH OUT the single, which is why it isn't charting high. You click the single picture on the front page of any iTunes and it takes you to the pre-order album.

Once the album comes out, GMAYL will SOAR.

The song is a top 10 hit in the US, the world's largest music capital, so no worries. GMAYL is a hit and the people who don't like it love the songs that all sound the same on the radio right now: LMFAO/Rihanna/Britney/Katy Perry, etc.

Madonna and Adele are about the only ones doing music that doesn't sound the same.

  4. "So, it seems not many of you actually L-U-V Madonna after all.
Her single Gimme All Your Luvin’ has proved a disastrous flop, despite launching to an audience of 114 million at the Super Bowl half-time show.
During the performance, she dressed as an Egyptian – and genuinely looked like she’d been born around 3,000BC – but, sadly, the PR masterpiece hasn’t made a huge impact, as the single looks set to drop out of the Top 50 in the Official UK charts this Sunday after debuting at 37 last week.
It’s one of the worst showings in the 53-year-old’s career – although not as bad as Revolver, which achieved a pitiful 130, although it had already been available on a greatest hits album Celebration for three months prior to its release.
The 53-year-old's single prior to that, also entitled Celebration, went to number three in 2009.

    4. Okay, Born This Way was an awful rip off of the brilliant Express Yourself.

The only lady gaga song I can't listen to or stomach. It has no melody and there is NOTHING about it to like.

and the video? what a joke! weird al's parody video got nominated for a grammy for best video when lady gaga's original didnt even get a nomination. LOL!

      wanna continue? :)

    5. we were talking about chart success, not the song. i'm not really into figures but i'm pretty sure it ripped the charts a new asshole at the time.

i really liked the video - especially the wierd gapped tooth thing at the end and the tattoo, giving birth to machine guns vignettes. love a spoken word intro too.

    6. But it was already all done before, and much better.

The video sucked as did the song.

The Macarena ripped the charts a new asshole back in 1996, my friend ;)

Where did marry the night end up placing on the billboard hot 100 again? oh, thats right 5th single, blah blah blah.

what about katy perrys 5th single? or 4th? or 3rd??? lol

Sorry, but Lady Gaga is no match for charts when Katy Perry is around ahahahahahahaha. Ha. :)

    7. you're confusing and confused. so do you value the charts or do you not? from sentence to sentence your point changes. you can't criticise Gagas chart position in one and then laugh at the macarenas success in the other... then complain about the homogenized sound on the charts at the moment... then celebrate m making top ten with gmayl in the other.

    8. You TOTALLY avoided your own argument, as I knew you would.

How well did Katy Perry's (Gaga's contemporary) 3rd, 4th and 5th single from Teenage do on the charts? And how about Gaga's??

Sorry, she sucks. 1 #1 from the album with a boring video and a parody video with a grammy award is a fcking joke.

  12. Tony wrote: "Madonna and Adele are about the only ones doing music that doesn't sound the same."

    Wow...really?

    Talk about delusional.

Gimme All Your Luvin' sounds like some Avril Lavrigne reject track from several years back. There is absolutely nothing fresh about it at all whatsoever. The problem is that is sounds like music that's already been done...back in 1999.

As for Adele, while I think she's overrated in some respects, for the most part, her music is LEAGUES above Madonna right now, and the same can be said for Katy Perry, LMFAO and Rihanna who you also named. Their music sounds fresh, Madonna's new single sounds regurgitated.

I'll always love Madonna, but the new single is anything but "different". It's generic and disappointing. However, the video is 3+ minutes of brilliance...that, I will give her.

As for Lady Gaga's "little monsters"...I could give a shit what they think about Madonna. They have their musical heroes, I have mine. It's a different generation, and that's fine by me.

    10. Agreed Everybody.

Tony: your points don't add up. Of course LG's fans and Madonna's fans are from a different generation. Sure, there's some cross-over here and there, but that can be said of fans from any diva...Madonna, Cher, Streisand, Lady Gaga, etc. The point is that LG fans are mainly from one generation, and she is their hero (at least for now), vs Madonna fans for the most part are from a different generation with a different group of heroes.

Believing otherwise is being unrealistic in my opinion.

Additionally, I had no idea that to be a fan of someone, you had to love each and every single thing they do, and praise each and every single thing they do. God forbid someone express they don't like something from Madonna...because apparently, they then need to go to another "forum" (and btw, this isn't a forum, this is a blog, so try and be more accurate about platform descriptions eh?).

This single isn't quality. The song is mediocre, generic "meh". Madonna is capable of better, and has done better. To put Madonna's current music in a similar category to Adele is a head-scratching statement. Anyone in their right mind would agree that Adele's quality of music is EONS above Madonna's right now.

Anyhow...whatever. You keep those Madonna-blind-fan glasses on if you want.

@Slide + Everybody: thanks for the support guys and gals. :)

    11. I'm 20, and Stefani G is a bit of a running punchline to anyone my age (excluding those who listen to nothing but top 40 music).

It's a bit shocking that people 10 years older (or more!) are actually into her stuff, at this point I'm probably 5 years past her main demographic, but everyone likes different things I guess.

      Delete
    12. I'm 20 as well and yes even our age is too old for her. I would have never wanted to be called a "little monster" but let's say I did, it would have stopped at age 15.

She's got herself into a pretty rut. In 5 years her high school fanbase is going to grow up. The monicker + patronising will backfire. Or, we'll have these degenerates wearing Little Monster t-shirts aged 20+.

    14. paranoid and garrett - to say you need to be a certain age to enjoy a certain kind of music, especially that of a 25 year old woman, is really wierd. i think you need to get off the music forums and go outside, go to some shows, and see that music is boundless.

i think if a lot of people are honest, they actually enjoy gaga on some level but the stigma forbids them from enjoying her freely. she's a guilty pleasure for many. i love and respect people like steven fry, paul mccartney, tony bennett or john legend who call themselves gaga fans in the face of what society might think or judge them for. afterall, music is music.

once you grow out of your cliques and learn to proudly own what you love and what you hate, you'll understand this more.

    15. I'm left wondering if you're even capable of recognizing that your whole post is based on nothing but conjecture and assumptions about people you know nothing about. If you're legitimately coming from the worldview that everyone likes Stefani G and there are those who deny it and those brave individuals who admit it despite "what society might think or judge them for" (never mind the fact that the pop media has been building her up from the beginning, it takes a courage to speak out against her), then it's no wonder you've appointed yourself the Gaga Police of a Madonna blog (and that a quarter of the comments on this page are from you, if you want to talk about people who should "go outside").

I think that Stefani G's "paws up little monsters, those meanie pants bullies are never going to destroy our kingdom" schtick is actually perfect for your psychology.

  15. Madonna is not worried about being #1 on the Billboard charts. She's been there and done there. She's not on the same quest she was in the 80s. If she were that worried about the charts, she would do Ellen Degeneres (by that, I mean perform her newest singles) twice or three times a year, perform them on Jay Leno and other talk shows, perform in every award show in the planet (in the US and in Europe), just like Gaga does. But no, Madonna doesn't care about it that much.

Her career is solid, all she wants is to put a record out and make money with her tour.

Madonna is as current as possible. She knows that the music business is all about touring now - that's how she makes money, that's how record labels make real money. Record sales comes in third place in the music industry now. Artists make money touring, then with endorsements, then with record sales.

And in case haters cannot put two and two together, no other solo act is bigger than Madonna on the music aspect that rule the music industry now-a-days: touring.

Let lady GawGaw have her I-don't-know-how-many-million likes on Facebook, and her 18 million followers on Twitter among real people and ghost accounts. The simple fact that her latest album had 8 million copies shipped and only sold 5,3 million worldwide is enough proof that ghosts on Facebook and Twitter not always buy records.

  16. First let us not forget and Tina touched on it, Madonna is 53 and Gaga is 25 the same age as Madonna was 1983 The First Album era. The issue with little bitter monsters is the age demographics. Young want to admire the Young. The little monsters love social media and they grew up on it and they also want their own version of Madonna so they are dying to make this creature their version of. IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN!! Madonna made the Blueprint for every pop star post her peak and then some.. Every pop artist will be compare to Madonna FOREVER! She is just as successful as when she first emerged on the top of the charts. The business is just different. She will work on what will make her successful. So topping the charts isn't her priority, GMAYL was to promo the SB let MDNA breath when the real record comes out.
Now i have no doubt the little monsters were responsible for trending RIP M even if this faux Will Smith person (prob steph her self) posted it. They are as much to blame as they are so insecure and horrible they attack anything that is threatening. I for one will never respect this Lady CRAP as she should speak to her fans as she SOOO connected to them and tell them to back the fuck off its only digging her flopping career deeper. Can't we all just enjoy the music? I find it fine to respect and admire someone's body of work. But when that becomes obession, I find it to be quite disturbing. We are all adults here. Madonna has done so much for music, women and the gay community, I can respect why so many of us put her on such a pedestal. She deserves that. She is an icon. But to hate another artist for it? It's sad to see that this thread has gotten the most amount of response, yet other threads worthy of discussion, have not.

    1. I'm sorry but when some good for nothing nobody piece of shit journalist does an article called THE CELEBRITIES WHO HAVE DONE MOST FOR GAY PEOPLE, and he puts Gaga SECOND, Elizabeth Taylor first and Madonna NOWHERE ON THE FUCKING LIST, as a gay man I take offense. Why? because Madonna has done more than anyone in music for gay people, certainly more than cowards like Elton John and George Michael, and most certainly more than Gaga and it has to be recognized.

When journalists say that Madonna is over and Gaga is the new Queen of Pop, I take offense in that because they are dismissing Madonna's legacy, WHILE SHE IS STILL HERE.

If you don't think it's important to respect someone's legacy and all their achievements, well that's your stance, but to me those things are important, and when there is A GLOBAL MEDIA CAMPAIGN TO DESTROY MADONNA'S LEGACY AND HAND THE GLORY ON A SILVER PLATTER TO A NOTHING LIKE GAGA, well I am going to speak up.

And maybe if the Madonna fan community CARED A LITTLE ABOUT HER LEGACY, this wouldn't be happening, but alas, it's not the case.

    2. Michael, you make a lot of sense.

I'd love to move on. when I comment it's because I'm compelled to offer some perspective. fans on either side need to be taken down a peg or two from time to time.

I just want fucken good art as I see it, to me, for me, no matter who is putting it out.

nothing really matters. art is all we need!

  19. Have you not seen the backlash Gaga has been experiencing this past year? And all because of Madonna and the comparisons that have been made by media and public alike. Since the Super Bowl, I've seen the public perception of M shift back into a favorable one, depite a fluffly, uninspired first single. She is back in favor and naturally with Gaga's backlash and the continual comparisons, Gaga's fans are now lashing out as they fear her reign of pop is coming to halt (for now.)

Madonna's legacy is perfectly in tack. She is still relevant, hence the scruitiny and continual critisism. Had this not existed, had people not cared, there would be something to really worry about. She has always experienced this treatment. And she has always risen above it. That and that in itself is part of her wonderful legacy.

I personally enjoy Gaga and love Madonna. I don't see the need to trash talk either. Why must we be so insecure. Let the uneducated journalists talk their shit and write their pathetic columns. Madonna's legacy is as strong as ever. All we can hope for now is that she is to make music that lives up to her previous material and doesn't harm that legacy by releaseing sub-par fodder.

Let's let the material, the videos and the tours, do the talking. If she can bring it once more, lots of people will be eating humble pie... YET AGAIN!

  21. I shouldn't even bother to comment on this crap. Let people like what they like and let it go. It's a shame that gaga fans feel the need to troll Madonna sites and bash her and that they feel a threat at all. I would hope that fans of Madonna and or gaga would have enough of a brain to not care. And certainly not attack each other. IT DOESN'T MATTER!

    Those in the know..KNOW.

  22. It is so funny how people let the charts dictate what they like and what they don't like.

I love GMAYL and feel bad for all the other Madonna fans who think because it has a chant that it sounds like Avril Lavigne. lol

    Yuck.

    1. You "feel bad for all the other Madonna fans who think because it has a chant that it sounds like Avril Lavigne"?

      LOL...

Umm, that's not why it sounds like an Avril Lavigne track. If that were the case, we might as say it sounds like Hollaback Girl from Gwen.

The song doesn't sound like an Avril Lavigne throwaway track because it has a chant. It's the entire tone, production, and structure of the song. The song could easily be a on a Disney show...we expect more from Madonna.

But hey...you keep feeling sorry for us if you like. (rolling my eyes)

    2. Cristian, you are deaf and dumb as fuck.

GMAYL's production sounds NOTHING like ANY Avril song. The only similar thing is the chant.

Avril has NEVER had a rolling 60's beach sound in ANY of her songs.

And bitch, chanting goes all the way back to Toni Basic in the early 80's with Mickey.

Now find me ONE Avril song with production (60's beach pop) that sounds like GMAYL.

you are grasping for straws, now. The chants I would give you, but you had to say production.

      Fucking def.
