Love all the outtakes. I'm still dreaming of a Ritts book covering only what he did with M.
I totally agree, a huge coffee table book of all his work with M. that would be a dream
That would be a wet dream come true!
Thank you Pudd for delivering again! I love when she just stands there. No smile, no lurid gaze just Madonna. It's so stunning.
The 'San Pedro' shoot (on the left) is my all-time favourite, so many amazing looks in one day! Was it late '89 or early '90 that shoot, anyone know? I remember seeing a shot if her in a club with that hairstyle and there was a Christmas decoration behind her.I agree, a Madonna/Ritts photo book is LONG overdue!
the San Pedro shoot was December 17, 1989
Awww... 2 days after my 8th Birthday and roughly around the time I bought my first Madonna record "Dear Jessie".
My favorite network BRAVO! Is using Madonna's "Superstar" in the Summer promo commercials. This is a big deal because it features all of the "Bravolebrities" and they play different versions of the "video" often - like all day and night for the summer! Last year they used Britneys "I Wanna Go" I was hoping they would do this and use TUTR but Superstar goes with the theme they are using! I am really happy about this. This song will reach many people. I love Andy Cohen!
Cool shot from the Cherish shoot. I guess they tried different things and the black dress won the war at the end of the day.
Hmmm, is that what it was? I always wondered where the wonderful jean short/flirty top shoot came from. Was thinking it actually took place on a separate day, but it would make sense that they filmed/shot on the same day. It's one of my favorite photo sessions and videos. I've always desperately wanted additional photos of her in the pool from the Vogue 1989 cover shoot. Some of the shots of her inside her home were pretty incredible as well.
