  1. Tick tock, tick tock, tick tock. She has to keep the WWW waiting too? That's classic Madonna tour behaviour for you!!

  7. She should incorporate Beautiful Killer into the tour.

  8. The speech about racism, tolerance, fear and discrimination had me tearful. So proud to be a fan.

  9. Jeeze did u see the vid on youtube of the people bitching and booing and cussing her out for putting on a short show? They were holding up signs afterward and booing the shit out of her. I bet Tony was in the audience. ;-)

  10. She has past her expiration date. I cannot believe that the day has arrived where I am no longer interested in her tired sexual icky acts. She hasn't been original since Ray of Light. RIP Madonna.

      Go away

  11. And yet....Here you are Luke777777777777. Madonna seems to be going strong doing whatever she wants. You on the other hand seem stuck here spilling your boring bile endlessly. Is this comment your swan song?

  12. Madonna put on an amazing show. Probably her best mini gig ever. The last two performances of Beautiful Killer and je t'aime moi non plus, will go down as legendary. Absolutely loved it all, and she looked sexy, and in complete control of that stage. This woman never ceases to amaze me, with her creativity, and energy. She really puts everyone else to shame.

As for the ungrateful 'fans' booing her, they can go fuck themselves. This was always billed as a small intimate show, separate from the tour. Did they really think she was gonna perform her entire show in that small venue? What exactly would be the point? They should be over the moon that they got a chance to be so incredibly close to her, in such a small, legendary venue. Instead, a bunch of ridiculous old french queens resort to throwing water bottles on the stage, call her a whore, and demand a refund. Fuck them.

I am so tired of the European leg of this tour. It's been nothing but drama, and negativity at every stop. Madonna has been spoiling them since 2005, and has completely over saturated that market. I cannot wait for her to wrap it up, and come home to the U.S, where she's finally being appreciated again. For her next tour, she really needs to dramatically cut down on her European dates, and skip certain countries all together. Make them hungry again.

    1. Well said, they had pre printed flyers though so were they set out to spoil it or?

    2. Makes me wonder if they weren't holding them up during the concert and the cameras didn't zoom in on them.

Beauiful Killer was epic. She looked mature yet still incredibly sexy and being flanked by those sexy female dancers made it even hotter and she was still the center of attention.

I'd bet she probably rehearsed that one for the tour and it didn't make the cut for one reason or another.

I think she should add it because it's so good but at the same time I think she shouldn't and let it be this singular awesome moment that should stand alone in the history of her career like Vogue at the VMAs.

  17. okay this shit is brilliant! really. no true fan would complain. this is everything. she said it. she fucked it. she sang it.

  18. je t'aime moi non plus was so beyond good! She sounds amazing.

    ReplyDelete
  19. The Je t'aime voice is everything....just goes to show she still has that Virgin voice still.

    ReplyDelete
  20. The first song and Beautiful Killer sounded vocally best because they had lead vocal backing tracks which she was singing along to. Can't believe people are saying she sounded good on 'J'Taime' - i can only guess that they are not that au fait with the original?! Jane Birkin certainly has nothing to worry about. But she flashed her knickers so i am happy.

  21. It's a tired old act she's being doing for like 3o years now. It would be okay if we didn't have to see Granny printed in every newspaper and magazine. And it's not as if there is a demand for her- it's just that she has a good publicist.

  22. I need to write about what I'm feeling because I feel it is my obligation to expose my point of view. I am a fan since I was 11 years (I'm 30). Forgive some english mistake. I feel a bit out of the world "Madonna" for some time. Can you feel that she gives herself away to a certain extent, and this is where she enters techniques developed throughout her career. And that makes her mechanics and usign always boring sexual tricks. I have to say: Tired of frredom speechs eather. She is not U.N. What was that in that show in Olympia? zzzzzz This show did not thrill me. I will not going in the MDNA tour here in Brazil. I'm not paying for a ticket to see only expensive technology, scream for her underware. She needs to recycle, get a time out of the air and stop doing a thousand things at the same time, to focus in only one. And do well that one thing. She’s tired (for me is clear), not because of her age, but because of fighting against this world that she created. The cage that she’s always talking about. Launch perfume, clothing, tour, record, film ... it does not scroll. It's good to fan hysteria, but there is something missing for me. She’s geting older and so do I. Definily, this is not a bad thing for me. I just can’t see myself in her attitudes anymore. She thinks she is the smarter person in the world, but there is a wonderfull world to discovery, another good singers too and no selfish disguised in intelligence. Sorry guys, this hasn’t nothing to do with Gaga and bla bla bla.

    2. Totally agree. Things started to get bad with Hard Candy/Sticky Sweet Recycle Old Material Tour/W.E. Disaster/Horrible name and smell of Truth or Dare perfume/Illuminaiti Superbowl Ritual performance (what a bitch)/Pretty bad album MDNA (only one good song on it) and now this embarrasing MDNA Tour. I think it's fair to say she will not recoop from this horrendous period of her career.

    3. Wow, i don't think fans come here. All i hear are bitchy comments from people who should be marveling at someone who has been working hard in the entertainment industry for over 30 years. Madonna keeps making art and every one here is such a critic. Please by all means go make music, films, etc and live your life. Madonna's job is to entertain and she clearly with her tour selling out and already being the highest grossing tour is doing a wonderful job. She even came out with a new album she could be selling nostalgia but she keeps making new art and everyone on this site seems to be the haggard mess they claim Madonna is. Watch her show and point that finger at your gross self and thank her while you're at it for giving you something to write about since you're not doing anything interesting with your life. Long live the Queen.

    4. bitchy comments - or critique? should your fandom just shrivel up and die if you don't love her latest product? nothing will ever take her legacy away but everyone has the right to their opinion.

sometimes i wonder if it's simply because she has been doing this for sooo long that the public are tired of her just by default.

it all seems so clouded in TRYING - to remain beautiful, energetic, productive, interested... loved. i crave silence and peace for her amongst it all.

      Delete
    5. ever heard the saying if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all.

It's actually comical to hear people who are not in the entertainment industry try say comments like they have the expertise of a manager or an agent.

I was reading for example about how Liza Menelli is playing small venues for some tour- like casino bars and I thought - and no shade on Liza- but here is a woman Madonna who can travel the world and put on a world tour that sells out- clearly she is doing nothing wrong. There is no one who can still do this. Michael Jackson when alive was going to do a come back tour and sell nostalgia, old songs, old moves and hope people would go.
I think what i meant to say was by all means people are allowed to say shit0 they will and they do but don't be delusional about who you are and who the rest of us are who work in the industry and actually make a lot of money. I dont right on blogs how to properly cook or tell my maid how to dry clean my shirt- im not an expert ion that area. Okay actually what i guess im saying is everyone on this site is worthless:)

    6. clearly, you haven't quit grasped the concept of a fan site blog. guess some truths are just too hard to face, mr oseary.

      Delete
    7. Nope. Clearly you are delusional and have no concept of constructive criticism which is supposed to help some one rather then criticizing someone.
Im sure when your 2 friends, teachers and family told you that you had zero talent you felt bad- didn't you and here you are now thinking your a talent judge with the most successful female artist of all time. Get a grip!
BTW thank you for calling me MR:)

    8. It's the same little dumpster monsters trolling, as usual: evrybdy, themadonnablog, luke, etc.

Madonna is exactly the same as she has been for 30 years. Things must have changed in the late 70's when she was a nude model or they changed again in 1992 when she released a book called Sex with her nude or changed again this year with showing her boobs on tour in 2012.

Yes, Madonna, my how you have changed and lost it. lol.

*Runs off to youtube to watch Lady Gaga hold peoples waist and dance in a circle with one leg up doing a jig inside a carboard castle*

      LOL!

    9. "help someone rather than criticise them"? i thought you said we shouldn't give our opinions on ways things could be improved because we are "worthless" and "not in the industry"? boy am I confused. and not that it should make a difference but I've worked in the industry and still don't consider myself an authority - i just know what I do and don't like and REALLY believe in it. so what's the problem? don't be do sensitive, guy. the fish smells from the head down.... it's not all your fault.

  24. Madonna thinks of three things and three things only: herself, money, and how to stay relevant. At least the latter has collapsed on her. I don't think she's a nice person. Do not listen to the paid lackies that are paid to compliment her in interviews... Zzzzz

    ReplyDelete

    1. Yes, well what happened to Mariah Carey or Lady Gaga neither have had a #1 in years and think their supposed to be relevant?

      ZzZzzzZZzz... indeed....

  25. I'm trying to be fair here, but I completely understand why fans were pissed off. Can you imagine queuing for DAYS (I could never be bothered) and it ending so soon after paying top whack? It's bad enough at a regular stadium show with all the standing about/getting crushed that goes on. It's almost not personal to Madonna, but a natural reaction to waiting all that time and paying for the privilege.

As for the comments above, I've thought for a long time that she's spreading herself too thin. I read some reviews of her shoe line and they were not kind. And you have to say, that's because she's not a shoe designer. I'm just puzzled as to why she's bothering. Like most of us I would rather have had just one album that didn't feel rushed.

New management is needed. But all this talk of her career being over is ridiculous, as it always has been.

    1. i'm not into celebrity products myself. i think they're pretty damn tacky and i loathe the culture and trend. it's just all too much for me... gyms, teen clothing line, sunglasses, frangrance, lingerie, shoes.

perhaps she is trying to earn back what guy ritchie took from her in their divorce? what's the figure - 50% of all earnings? that's quite brutal. it probably doesn't help that he is expecting his second child with his girlfriend of 2 years. work can often be a good distraction. i don't bedgrudge madonna's work ethic, but i do have a problem with its focus.

ive said this before - just give me art.

    2. This was a promo show. The same thing she has done for years. She did one in 1998 for ROL, she did one at roseland ballroom in 2000 for music and several since.

This was never billed as a full MDNA concert and she also performed two songs, especially for this articular show that had a capacity of 2700 people as opposed to the 45,000 people she normally plays to.

They got a 50 minute show and two new performances.

Nobody forced the dingbats to stand in line for days, nobody forced them to buy tickets and nobody told them they were getting the full show.

I think the ungrateful cunts bitching and complaining about getting something this special should paypal me DOUBLE what they paid for having to listen to these absurd complaints.

What a bunch of dirty, used up douche bags.

      Gross.

  32. The Madonna’s most ardent fans are so arrogant like her. I was once, so completely blind. Good thing I'm (successfully) detaching myself of this addiction full of artificiality that she has become. It's just obvious that she always was. Yes, her tours always gives a big profit, but that profit is thanks to blind people looking for someone who sells dreams. What I see is a very intelligent woman, ambitious and hardworking fulfilling an employment contract. Dedicated, but not revealing. Treading where it is safer and plotting his career as a set of marked cards. I'd rather build my own dreams and not get behind someone to know what should I do to be happy. Madonna is a human being, and like any mortal makes mistakes. Her actions are rehearsed to me and nothing seems to be spontaneous, not even a smile. I do not feel connected to it as before, just that. Her shoots was so beautiful, but know is full of photoshop. It's embarrassing. And her plastic surgery, she doesn’t need that. I've noticed a long time she has an enviable breath, but that does not mean she needs to jump like a monkey on stage. It's ridiculous. As I wrote first, singers as good as it has in droves. My family are irreplaceables and my biggest inspiration. I just wanted to see someone I once was a big fan not become a victim of it’s own vanity. As this is not possible, I’ll live my own life and be happy to know how much money I am saving because I’m not going to her show. I mean, I have this friend, she’s 40 and acts like a teenager just because of her show... “Oh my God”, was my thought. I mean, I’m 30 and I know I’m full of life. It’s funny, but that’s the truth. Why should I stay acting like that for someone who even know me? I prefer to be devoted to my college (I’m finally doing), friends, work, photography (it’s my hobby) and so many others things. I will always have a big respect for Madonna, but I will respect myself first. When I'm in the mood, put her songs is enough. Please don’t take to personal side. I open my heart here because I am moving to another direction and changing my point of view. I not going to write here anymore. Madonna will keep moving, as usual. She will not miss me, I will not miss her. Forgive some english mistake, I am from Brazil :)

    3. I understand you perfectly. But, you are taking Madonna to another level. You don't have to stop loving Madonna to make a life for yourself. If you lived your life for Madonna only, that would be very on point and kind of crazy. I love, respect and adore Madonna, but that doesn't make up my life. It's a hero worship to some degree and a good one. I am myself and Madonna just inspires parts of me. Wish you well and hope the best for you Rodrigo.

    4. And as usual, Tony can not take any negative comment about Madonna. I get your point Rodrigo even tho i dont agree with it. I adore Madonna but i have my own life. I look up to her, what she has done and still does, but my life doesnt depend of the things she does. A lot of fans are very dissapointed at her, but remember, she is been doing the same for almost 30 years, so it isnt easy.

    5. Because that's ALL you do. I have plenty of negative comments about her, but to say 'disappointed' in her? As if she is your personal friend or family member? LOL

I do not personally know Madonna, therefore, I do not 'love' her. I love the work she has done, for the most part, but she is human like you and I. Shits and pees just the same. She just happens to be super rich.
