New York Hot Tracks - 1984

Everybody, Physical Attraction, Burning Up, Holiday and Borderline. These were the days!!! Wearing her Keith Haring/Vivienne Westwood Witches Collection skirt and the leather jacket that she wore on her first MTV interview with Mark Goodman, Madonna stopped by New York Hot Tracks and was just being Madonna.

They are, too - don't listen to him - I'm fine!!!

All Madonna's tours are fantastic for different reasons but if you had to pick your favorite, which one would it be?

Country Strong with Gwyneth Paltrow

I'm sure most of you have seen some of Gwyneth Paltrow's Country Strong clips by now. Evidently she said in an interview that she was influenced by Beyonce for the performance bits. Ah, Cmon Gwyneth - Confessions is more like it!!!

Reader Phillip saw the film and said that in the film there is a big comeback scene that reminded him of Confessions and he sent me pics from Like It or Not and from the film. I haven't seen the film but from the video posted below, I see a hell of a lot of Confessions. Not to mention her version of the end of The Virgin Tour's, Dress You Up. Haha!

Atlanta, Georgia - June 29, 1987

Right after Madonna kicked off the North American leg of the Who's That Girl Tour in Miami, Florida on the 27th of June - the next stop was Atlanta, Georgia at The Omni and judging the top photo, she was sock'n it. I'm not sure of the location in the second photo but posted for those legs alone. Both sent by wonderful contributor Scrapple. xo
