  3. I remember this interview. I was a religious visitor of the library on the hunt for Madonna news. This was before internet so I would use what they called "microfish." I came across this interview and printed it. It was a bad Xerox copy but I remember they had 3 pics of her on the couch. I sadly no longer have it. Thank you for printing these!!! Any chance you have the interview? Would love to read it again. Thanks again!

  5. Yes these are just shockingly beautiful pictures and I had NEVER seen them or even heard of this interview until earlier this year!

She did SO few interviews in 1987 - I really to read this one!!!

She looks unbelievable here. When I look at her I am reminded why I became utterly smitten by her as a teenage boy back then.

  9. Wow - loved reading that interview! It's funny - I recognised many of the quotes from UK papers / magazines, which must have reprinted parts of it at the time.

Interesting she said her favourite number in the WTG tour was the DYU/MG/LAV medley! That she danced in her dressing room before the show to "Causing a Commotion" and that after the show she read a Harry Crews novel (the next year, Harry Crews spent a couple of days with her do write a piece for "Fame" magazine)!

    Brilliant.
