    @Berry... hands down, no question!! mr. ward was the perfect arm candy for her SexBomb era.

    I'm OBSESSED w/Paris Is Burning... and clearly M was too. Not only "Vogue" the song & video were inspired by it, but also Blonde Ambition and Truth or Dare were GREATLY influenced by "Ball Culture" and PIB -- as evidenced by VERY SPECIFIC scenes which appeared later in M's work. Popstar Malcolm McLaren recorded "Deep in Vogue" in 1989, yet M swooped in and took all of this vogue underground inspiration to make, arguably, the biggest hit of her career... a song she originally wrote for a Nike commercial.     I recorded reports on this premiere from ET and CNN at the time - she spoke briefly to CNN while standing there. I need to get them online!!!
